Sundown Audio Rebuild - Blowthru to WALKTHRU!!!!!
i'm going off what travis and curt say. if i build really soon it will be sa15s until the x line comes out and i can afford to upgrade to them. like they said this way i can pound them daily and push them in the lanes, which is a good point i think.....also i think the x line should take it no problem and so do they. i dont know if my build will start until this winter. if i wait out this year it may be a little bigger then anyone can imagine. i have a goal and i always get my goals....sometimes it takes a little long but i will have a 163db min on music at the glass! just dont know when...

Sundown Audio Rebuild - Blowthru to WALKTHRU!!!!!
Whats your name? Hes right you cant breathe when the low notes hit or the high notes! lol low notes just suck the breath out of you and the high notes grab your throat and choke you out. XD I guess you can say minor issues, more like just needs lots of tuning and tweeking. lol. As loud as it was at travis's shop.... it still had alot more in it. Mandan is a long way up there coming from Oklahoma City, Ok. But i wont rule it out as I am going to be doing a lot of driving all over the place so we will have to see. I'm Tyler Fitterer from Bismarck, ND. I would really like for you to come up as no one up here really knows what Sundown is and I'm having a hard time getting it started as everyone is one minded here-if it doesnt say Kicker, JL, Alpine or Rockford it is sh!t. But also im looking into doing 8 SA15s in a vented clam but i have no idea where to start on it.....i just need something to run both of my warhorses on and something to make people go OMG!!!! And what better way then with entry level Sundown and 20k watts??

PLEASE!!! I would probly cover your entry fees if you did just to beable to see this!

1998 Chevrolet Silverado Z71
well with a box like this it will take you a while and maybe hard for you getting all angles and corner pieces done. honestly i would either do sub firing down and aero or slot port into side or sub up with aeros or slot port into the side. ive seen this be a good option in these trucks. i did 4 12s in one with subs and port firing down. the port ran along the back side and it was sick, no sub or port noise and was loud for entry level subs on 1000 watts.

are you going to try and build your box exactly like that? and do you have any experience building boxes?

of course you would drop in on this one curt. BURKO: I would ask 98GMC what he has found to work good, he has done some different boxes that slam in his and has done too much research into these trucks that i know of. but your lucky, i had to buy my first car and first system my self when i was 14. kinda funny i paid 3x more for my system then my car and had my system first! 1987 2 door sunbird (ballin!) with eclipse cdp, pioneer speakers, mtx 1501d, 2 mtx thunder 6000s in prefab slot ported boxes with an optima yellow top. so i think your off to a little better start then me! Good Luck to you on your build and with your truck

North Dakota Noob
Hey all, I'm tyler from Bismarck, ND. I'm not officially a noob to audio (even thou some people up here know me as Mr. Noobcake). I have been involved in the car audio and competition scene since i was 14 (2004). I also starting my own shop last year called Out There Customs. At my shop my #1 thing is car audio, but also sell alot of different aftermarket parts, mechanic work, body work, motor swaps, etc. I do know alot about car audio but there are some areas that are ruff for me and I am going to be asking for some help on my box design and what you guys think will work best in my setup idea, if i seem to use wrong terms and words describing things.....bare with me as i know more things as words or phrases i come up with as it is easier for me to remember with all i have going on. If I say something and you dont understand me, please ask and ill explain and feel free to tell me the "proper term". Thanks My shop vehicle: 1999 Chevy Blazer 4 door 2 layers of dynamat extreme thru entire vehicle Eclipse 5v Deck Infinity Kappa 6.5 components (f doors) JBL Digital 1004 2 Kicker Warhorses 4 Solo X 12s (temp-need to get rid of) 8 Kinetik HC2400s I did a quick throw together install with boxes someone else made for solo x 12s for a competition last week and I am redoing everything so it is a disaster until i have the time and figure out my new build.
