  1. VERY NICE. Lovin the rims too.
  2. Check out the tech tab at the top of the page, there may be something that would work for you. If not where at in OH are you from? Anywhere close to Akron or Cleveland, if so I could help out if you would like. Let me know.
  3. ya i tried cardboard and failed miserably. i was thinking, dnt anyone shoot if im wrong, what about laying down like a plastic kinda film that would stick but peel off easy?? lay it down then cut around the edges and lay back down on the wood. then cut it. it would be like a cutout sheet. just an idea.
  4. Be careful about this guy!! Sounds like his stuff will make you crzy..... <---dont want that....dont take that ^^^^
  5. Pre - No-Xpolde: great stuff, gives me those extra pumps and the concentration i need aswell. Post - After glow (nt sure if its one word or not): AMAZING stuff..rebuilds your muscle extremely fast, take this and you wont be sore the next day. These wont make you crazy or mean either.... lol
  6. i think it really depends on what your wrapping it in first. but make sure you go with what you like and not what's easy like The enD said or you'll end up doing it agian later on with the one you liked in the first place...lol good luck
  7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Have a good one!
  8. Sounds like you have a good plan. Deff dont set the gain to max...bad idea. Stock alt should do fine for the time being...but if you have the extra money I would deff get one and also a better amp. Also upgrade the stock batt for sure. You running any extra batts in the back? RF wire is deff OVERPRICED...but thats all Im going to say as thats what I have ran. What other brand would you suggest that is a little more reasonable as I am upgrading my wiring soon? I can get a RF kit for $120.00 it comes with a anl fuse holder and 20 ft of pure copper 0 awg its Immaculate copper. You don't think 1 15 BTL N2 on 2000rms can set off an alarm???? You sure?? That doesnt seem right imo (way to cheap). Why do you want to set off alarms? Personally I just like bass for bass nt to annoy people in my neighborhood, that just gives everyone a bad rep
  9. I didnt see that you posted this yesterday....but wow those builds looked really nice. He kinda lost me with all the terms he was using though. lol I may just do that and round over the port but kerfing does look really sick, I'll probly just practice that a little and see how it goes first.
  10. I lived in Hudson but just recently moved to Stow. But ya I think that would be cool. Shoot me an email off my profile page and maybe we could meet sometime soon. Maybe tomorrow or something...I have school and work on Sat and Sun is mothers day so this weekend is kinda booked. lol Where you live in Akron? ^^I want one!
  11. these do seem very good for the price...i may be selling the old and ordering the new
  12. ....DAMN
  13. that HU cover was sick...looks good!
  14. Glad I've been paying out the ass for these....THANK YOU for posting that site your saving me a lot of money!!
  15. I will begin tearing the Twin Towers down tomorrow and use the wood to build the manifolds and ports. It will be nice to get the EP4000s out of the HT room cuz I haven't done the fan mods. The IB3s are custom dual 4 ohm, 4 layer IIRC, series/parallel 4 ohm bridged per EP4000 (2 EP4000s, 2 subs per amp bridged). I am wasting and tearing apart a very wonderful performing pair of enclosures. Under 10% THD these things hit 124dB @ 10Hz and 130dB @ 23Hz. If I would have braced them better that 25Hz-40Hz would have been fixed. They were 125 cubic feet each with a 12" port 12" long for a 13.4Hz tuning, 2 IB3s per tower. Here is the Twin Towers build log: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1231247 Here is the new one: That looks sick. Great job on that build
  16. I bet your neighbors love you...lol. I'd be over there though
  17. ^^That's a great point that I don't think most ppl think of until they actually need something fixed and its covered. When I did my quarter panels it really cut out a lot for me but then again every car is going to be different...goodluck!
  18. Ya I just found a real general how to on youtube but I'll deff be trying to search the rest of the forum for a good tut. Thanks yet again
  19. Alright, that's cool. I'll check out youtube now but if you have a really good one let me know. Thanks! Don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place That. Whether You Mean Kerfing Or Rounding Over The Outer Port Edge. I think it would be Kerfing...I've seen that on some vids I've been watching. It looks like the make a whole bunch of cuts real close together and close to cutting all the way through to curve the wood but can't find a tut anywhere. I'll try searching Kerfing on youtube. Thanks.
  20. Just to clarify the above....a flared slot port.
  21. Alright, that's cool. I'll check out youtube now but if you have a really good one let me know. Thanks! Don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place
  22. Got another question for someone....how do you flare a port? I want to make my next box with one but have no idea on where or how to start.
