Hey eveybody ive been doing a little research and ive narrowed it down to these two subs and cant decide which to go with as if now for electrical i have a yellow top under the hood and the big 3 done and will be adding another battery in the back probably xs d3100 and for the amp im planning on going with cresendo 2250 and its all going in a 1988 suburban not looking for numbers just a good loud daily sub.

My icon does the same thing,but I've had mine for about 8 months and im about to send it in also for a recone.

I planned on fixing the icon later and selling it and upgraging my amp and electrical.

Ive asked around a little bit amd ot sounds like the coil is venting thru rhe dust cap but im not real sure of this os the problem.

Well i cant play it because how loud the pop is its really loud.

Hey everbody since my icon doesn't work any more i was looking for a new sub and i was kinda stuck between the xcon 12 or a bl 12 fully loaded and was wondering which would be louder. sq doesnt matter much but its a plus and right now, im leaning towards the xcon because of how much i loved the icon and i was looking for some suggestions.

If this is the problem how would i fix this after lo.oking at the sub it doesnt look like theres anything abnormal about the sub

No there's no photos it only happens when playing at high volumes

Its tuned to 32 and after looking at the speaker playing a little bit the dust cap is bending out on the right side of the sub really bad and i dont know what could have caused this to happen other than the low being set a little low.

I dont think its a loose dust cap but it may be but its a very loud pop

Yes its ported and the ssf is set at 28 i believe and i checked all the screws and there tight and we out another sub in to see if it was the box and ot wasnt

Hey everbody i have a small question i have a 12 in icon that ive had since about january and today when i was listing to it and it started to make a popping sound right where the dust caps at and only at hi volumes and i was wondering if anybody might know what it might be.

Yes both coils are good its just missing a dust cap.

Hey everybody i came across an old 12 xtant and was wondering if it was worth anything.

No problem man the icon will get very loud and low in a proper enclosure and i only have one right now im trying to figure out how to get 2 of these beast in a single cab pickup.

I have heard both on the same power but different vehicles and to be honest i thought the icon was louder. Which is why i am now running icons. Also the boxes where identical except for the cut out for the sub.

Yea i know what you mean i just took my icon out pf ny truck and its horrible not feeling the bass.

Yea i figured about a month thats about how long it took to get my icon 12 and dcon 12. The reason i was askings is because i didnt know if yall had all ready sold them all.
