    damn 3 XXX 12s... i love them
  8. emperorjj1 replied to juanl's topic in General Fi
They are the XXX's but with a custom dustcap thanks to scott. I reconed them to quad 2ohm and got blank caps. Then just did the logos in vinyl along with clearcoat over it.

what do u think of this then?
  10. doing custom alternator brakets are not for the faint harted. Look at you bay very carefully and think about it before doing anything. Check sizes brainstorm and hopefully u can get it working
  11. emperorjj1 replied to juanl's topic in General Fi
lol i feel you... but you shouldnt need the basket in that case. all you would do is cut out the internals and do a swap with the fi recone. Ive found it easiest to use a manilla folder when reconing. are you doing it youself or getting someone else to help you? Its not really hard to do but theres little room for error.
  12. would the low bass increase that much thou from just using the 12 LPF at 80?
  13. hmm wouldn't u get weird responses running the 8 and 12 like that? and drool to your processing (me likey)
  14. emperorjj1 replied to juanl's topic in General Fi
aaaa *drool* not that im fi or anything but if u already have the 15" basket you dont need a new one just the soft parts (cant tell if its a 15 or 12 from the pic)
  15. lol i saw that mat i was thinking wtf?
  16. lol epicenter really just processes the signal and gets midbass and turns it into subbass. Only situation i see where its close to worth anything is if you listen to 75%+ mexican music
  17. damn i almost thought u lived in or by a pink building
  18. lol i dont like big names anyway... lol jk but seriously im in the middle of the desert come on now
  19. ya i really wanna try out the hertz stuff... loved alot of what i saw at ces and if we became a dealer i would be the first in line to try it out. But sadly i dont see it happening so il probably just do peerless midbass drivers
  20. lol it took a while for the wall socket to blow my 05 XXX... it was a dual 2 and i tried 4 ohms for a bit that didnt work so down to 1 and even then it wasnt as quick as i would expect... so i dont think ull blow it as long as ur careful
  21. damn that sux... for what car?
  22. lol for me the window motor is a much bigger obstacle... lol tried my hx2 8" sub as midbass and meh sorta what im looking for but not really
