  1. I've read that shuriken batts are great but over time they can't keep voltage (as with any batts) but its been said that these die quicker than eg kinetik, xs power.
  2. Does anyone have the slowed down version? I can't find it anywhere for easy download. Most sites have been down for copyright infringement. Can someone email me the link please? Seems like a great song to listen to.
  3. I almost bought something similar to that. Just bought a couple packs of sandpaper instead lol.
  4. Thanks guys! My buddies and I ended up hand sanding it (was a fun and hilarious experience) got the sub to fit flush.
  5. Sweet. Just bought a sundown 100.2 off CACO for $140. Says he'll ship amp out Monday. Sooo next weekend I can install the comps! What's a suggested hz for the hpf. Maybe 100hz or do you guys think I can go lower ? My lpf for the sub is at 80hz. My ssf is around 20hz.
  6. 6/16 Ran 1 mile 6:44 About to go to the gym and work on biceps/triceps Stay active!
  7. Comps came in today. (yesterday) Thank you very much SSA! Sorry no amp to demo them just yet, hopefully I can find another 125.2 or 100.2 by end of next week, if not I'll just buy one brand new. But visually these things look great, better than the type r's and every other front stage I've had lol. Looking forward to hooking them up.
  8. 6/15 143lbs 5'7 Ran two miles 13:12
  9. I'm thinking about taking the volt meter out now. It's very bright and almost a distraction driving at night. If anything I'd just check my voltage once a week or something instead of keeping one in the car at all times. My voltage seems good and I have no worries of it dropping. (cross my fingers)
  10. 6/14/12 Ran 2 miles. 13min This is just the morning, still have weightlifting later today. But figured I'd post, (really bored right now lol) And I'm shipping off to basic training in 54 days!!! F-word YEAH!!!
  11. I figured that'll be the way to do it lol.
  12. My e12 came in the mail today (sweet sub btw!) so I put it in my custom sub box in the car to see how it looks (2.00cuft tuned 32hz) and the sub hole is sliiiightly too small (won't fit completely flush). Any ideas on how to make this work? I suppose sanding down the hole till the sub can fit flush. What would be the easiest and safest way to get the sub to fit? I know for sure that I want to use this box, so another box isn't an option. (paid $120 for box) they even said oversized subs may require slight mod to box. I'm a little upset though that the sub won't fit. But any ideas please let me know. Thanks in advance.
  13. All this talk makes me want one lol.
  14. I see. One voltmeter is fine, Personally, I like to see my voltage. I don't want to look like a voltmeter nut and have a bunch of volt meters lol. Just a thought that I had for the day.
  15. I suppose buying another will do. I have a friend that has his volt meter fused. Although, he fuses almost all his stereo power wires (including speaker wires) lol, I wish I can have mine wired to my relays, I'm not sure how to do it or if I have relays lol*
  16. I'd like some opinions on where I should have my voltage metered from. Currently it's hooked up to the battery so I know how much voltage is at my battery, but should I have it wired straight to the alternator or the amp? I'm stuck between battery and amp. I'd like to know voltage to my amp but I'd also like to know voltage to my battery. I guess I can buy another one. But what would you guys do? How do you have your volt meters set up? And do you guys have your power wire for your volt meter fused?
  17. I think as long as you do the big 3 in 1/0 wire, you won't need a second battery, you just need to watch your voltage and grab a volt meter. Try to get 1/0 wire for your amp, depending on what amp you get, I think the biggest wire you can put on a AQ1200 is 4awg which is ok as well. But I'm not sure on that.
  18. The 100.2 guy hasn't sent me invoice yet. But I got invoice from my 125.2 guy. Paid him yesterday. Hopefully he ships out amp today.
  19. Well if you get them in dual 4 ohms you can wire down to 1 ohm and grab a sundown sax1200d and have it at 1 ohm to get the full 1200w. I believe there is a guy here selling one for $250. You gonna go ported right?
  20. Just ordered them
  21. Yesh. Will be buying IA comps tomorrow and hopefully 100.2 as well. Getting the 100.2 for $140 shipped.
  22. Yes!!! PayPal voted in my favor!! They are returning the $200 back to my account. They said I have to wait at most 5 days for the adjustment to be posted. Thank you everyone for your concern. About to buy a 100.2 now lol.
  23. VIDEOS!!!! Please? When it's done of course lol.
  24. Yeah I called customer service and they said they were still waiting on other party's response. And on the 11th day (today) they...close the dispute. I think lol kinda forgot what they said lmao.
