P lol dont listen to this guy. only legs and arms. lol. and 30 minutes????? lol you wont get shit outta 30 minutes. ive been working out for years and i will tell you 30 minutes is bullshiit. as for you question about walking on elipt. etc. the answer is 0 minutes. you shouldnt be walking to burn fat. to burn fats you need high intensity. do sprints 95% of your max effort for like 15 seconds, followed by 1 minute fast walk, then 15 seconds max, followed by 1 minute fast walk or jog. repeat. i like to lift weights, then hit cardio. because by then you already burned off your calories and can start burning off fats. if you walk for 20 minutes, you havent hit any fats yet, you only burned off the calories you just ate. I can get one helluva workout in 30 mins. crossfit/sealfit. Bullshit? ha yeah........... i bet you arent as strong or as fit as i am. not trying to brag but there is no way to get in the shape i am working out 30 minutes a day. It's all about intensity my friend. You can only venture beyond your anaerobic threshold for so long. Why waste the rest of the day taking it easy for hours?

Awesome camry man! I have a 96. I plan to mount my box the same way and wasn't sure what I was going to do with the port being behind the arch in our pass through. Do you think it makes a major effect? And if your alt is a stock 70 like mine is currently, how's it holding up against the saz? Sweet ride man, love seeing other camrys haha

		My Camry's slow build begins...

Ha, that was quick. Yep, I ordered a d1 12. I have a few practice boxes made of Styrofoam sitting in the garage. I want to have it fire into the cabin sealed off from the trunk, but I'll see how it sounds in all different configurations back there and make the best decision.

		My Camry's slow build begins...

Hey Everyone, I've been reading this forums for a while and only recently created an account to start posting. This has become my favorite car audio site, especially since it has a great interface for my phone at work Anyways, here's the first car I bought, a 96 v6 Camry xle, and it is time to start it's journey in car audio. It will be a long one as I like to save for a while and buy bigger after learning my lesson going cheap and regretting/wanting more. I won't post my plans for the car as they change somewhat every time i sit down and put some thought to it. I'll mainly be updating as parts show up on my doorstep, past the point of no return for me haha. Heres my baby, my commuter For the meantime I'll be working with the sub stage, reluctantly. I popped some factory speakers so i threw in some afforable jvc coax 6 1/2's and 3 way 6x9's. I have a kenwood deck that I'm like for now. I ordered my sub which will be coming in within the very near future and snagged an awesome amp this past weekend. Here's a few shots of the amp Can't seem to get that pic to stay rotated... Maybe later I'll take a pick of it sitting in the trunk in the dark with all the lights on, its really a beautiful amp, can't wait to see how much she puts out Anyways that's it for the meantime, sorry there isn't any major installs going in yet, but there will be in due time as I save up. The next bump will be the unboxing of my sub. Hint, it's rated at just about the same as the output the amp at 2 ohms

I'm looking at getting an AQ2200, now I don't think it is too much for the sub when it's broken in, but what about breaking it in? Just keep it low for a while? Thanks

Ah down in bakers, nice. Yea what do you think about the alt I linked in the first post? I think it was Mechman alt's that responded to my email saying they have a 220A with machined brackets to fit for like 550 which is probably more than I will need. Also is a pretty steep price for me at the moment, but you get what you pay for for sure so i hear. How did you like your bl and damn where are you gonna fit that 15" monster in your honda? Haha. Yea I'm really excited to go to this event as I've never gone to one!

Hey, thank you. I'm in Sacramento, the 916! I did consider the 2200 right away, and I'll revisit it. I think the reason i threw it out was because i thought i wouldn't be able to support it off a 70a stock alt. As for the speakers, i drive a 96 4 door Camry with leather interior. That's pretty funny you're 2 hours away too, where are you located at? I plan to go to the finals in San Jose too and check that out in September.

Thank you, is it in the sound deadening forum section? That's funny you mention something like that. I was just reading some of Don's post about it and the like. I planned on covering my whole car with it and I just read how that really could be quite pointless. I really plan to just place it a few places at a time and see how it affects the resonance. I will try to find that thread, thanks. I'm guessing it has something to do with why its so cheap? haha Hey, thank you. I'm in Sacramento, the 916! Hey everyone, I drive a 96 3.0l V6 Camry xle 4 door and I got into the car audio game about 4 months ago when i bought a bunch of stuff off Craigslist for 100 bucks. I bought 2 jl 12w0's, a box tuned to ? freq with about 3 cubes of space, a 4 channel amp that I'm bridging off 2 (I have no idea about wattage or anything about the amp, I can't find on google anywhere), 4 gauge amp kit, 2 coaxial polk speakers, and 2 3-way fosgate 6x9's. I have been playing that for the last four months and now i just am craving so much more. It just doesn't do it for me and I have big plans (for me) for my next build. Right now I'm just saving money and doing more research, trying to learn all I can. That is how i ended up here! I see that there will be a mecca event July 3rd in Fresno (2 hours from me) so I will definitely be attending and it will be my first car audio event that I attend. I currently watch a lot of youtube vid, primarily EXO, twisted, and some of Meade, and browse forums here and caraudioclassifieds. As for my next build, I think I have narrowed a good part of it down to what I'm going to purchase but I'm still completely open to any recommendations. Electrical: Alternator: 70A Stock (will definitely have to go in the future - Only one I have found to fit my car is this Battery: I have an old 500cca duracell battery that is in desperate need of swapping. I was looking at an xs d1200 battery and it is definitely not set in stone Big 3: Needs to be done. Wire: Need to purchase some 1/0 Speakers: Front stage/rear deck: This is where I will need help and I need to research. I don't know much about good speakers, mid basses, horns and tweets, different set ups etc. I figured i would see how the ones i have perform amp'd as they are not now. Sub: 1 12" Xcon D2 or D1 Amps: Sub Amp: Looking at getting an AQ1200 to break in the sub and down the road buy another one and strap them. Mid/Highs Amp: The 4 channel that I have been using for my subs for the time being. I wouldn't choose to new one until i chose new speakers i guess. I plan to build an optimal ported box for the xcon firing into my cab with the trunk sealed off. I'm also going to purchase a bulk 100 sq ft off FatMat as I'm already having a lot of cabin rattle from 2 jl's running off no more than 150-300 watts and my trunk sounds decent from outside but will sound horrible from an Xcon i bet haha. The AQ has 4 gauge inputs so I plan to do a run of 1/0 to a distribution block with a tail of 4 guage and hopefully a tail of 8 guage could fit in as well for the crappy 4 channel I have (or ill just put in a 4 gauge tail and trim it down to fit). I have a TON of purchases to make in the future probably over the next month as I've got a good bit saved. I'd love any input from you all as I'm posting here primarily to learn and grow in these forums. Thank you SSA for providing such a great forum for us all! Ryan
