Glad to see some progress. Nothing personal and maybe its me...but RE and Fi haven't had the best track record as far as websites. Not that would ever stop me from buying another Fi product.

Sounds like its a pretty good score. I metered at 138.1 with a US Amps USA-2000x (2000 watts) on a Q12 in a 2.0 cu ft box tuned to 33 hz. It was at a USACI event so it was with the official USACI disc for SPL...whatever that is. The sub was 3 days old. And I used my SQ settings for the SQ lanes with the gains pumped up. And my car is not very good for SPL.

As long as you stay away from the US Amps style 4 separate power and ground connections...

I'm running a USA-2000X, 400X, and 200X. I've had a USA-400 (1152 watts, 1 ohm stable version), USA-1000, USA-150x and a USA-50x. Never had a problem with them. Only time my amps have shutdown is from running them at 1/2 ohm for over an hour in the summer on a stock electrical system. Beasts these things are. And they make a great used buy!

You should get a T-shirt or something from Fi. I hope nothing happens to my car...its too damned expensive to fix.

That split VC XXX is so damned big. I classify it as a novelty sub more than anything. I have one in my closet...its too damned big and heavy.

Looks mean! But I don't think "Nightshade" is a fitting name. More like "Nightmare"...for all of the neighbors who won't be sleeping at night. But nothing can ever beat "Death Penalty".

I ordered a Q12 in late Aug...so can I call myself on Fi OG? I loved my Q12 for the next 6 weeks and then I deployed to Iraq. I am anxiously waiting to get back home to feel bass again.

For comparison, a Q is on par with an XBL2 XXX. So 2 Q'2 would be a ton of great sounding bass. But the Q should be able to handle the 1500 watts as long as you don't go ape chit on it.

I know how you feel...I had an RE XXX 12 that got focked up by Fedex. Aren't you on www.strictlyea.com?

That's a low tune. Wish I had more trunk space to try that. Good review. I was happy with the SPL when I first installed it...even happier as it loosened up.
