Well first comp of the season yesterday, I was not really prepared, my resin on my box wasn't completely cured, I hadn't done any testing, my car looked like crap... but I went anyways. I hit low yesterday, but was having issues all day. Final run for head 2 head eliminations was a 139.1 in street A. Good enough for first place. Street B was won by TJ (goes by old/skool on termpro) with a 151. something. Street C was won by my friend Matt in his ford festiva with a 138.6. Bob the guy with the blue van and all the t3 woofers was there doing mid 60's all day, it was impressive. Bassrace, I came in third in the 139 class, I wanted to be in the 129 class but qualified with a 130.2. Ended up in third in bassrace. So here are some pics of the work I have been doing all weekend... and some of the show. This is bob's truck doing 160's+ all Sunday.

A product I would suggest to make application easier would be second skin's spectrum sludge, When i have ~300 of spare cash laying around, 5 gallons of that stuff will magically appear at my door in 3-7 days.

I would have to do a little spin off, car audio lessons: Don't try and cut an entire box with a jigsaw after working a double. If you wait till the last minute, than mother nature won't cooperate. There is no such thing as perfect, but keep on trying. When things start falling apart, go back to the basics. It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks, as long as you tried your best (and/or like it).....

I am thinking about getting my deposit back and putting it on a audison lrx 4.300, considering its about the same price. I haven't truly decided yet. I could always go all sundown and make Jacob happy. Give her a pair of saz-1500d's and a 100.4, than buy a pair of 3000d's for myself.

bart is a great guy, and knows his stuff. Have you seen his automatic router (works like a flojet).

That will be sufficient. I've used one in a personal car on stock electrical with 1/0 and it was no problem. I use mine daily with a 80 amp alt, a factory replacement battery and 4 ga. Daily. (upgrading alt, batt and adding another run of 4 per amp. for the second saz-1500d)

You would definitely want my D7 amplifier from diamond than. I have a deposit down on it, for my sister's b-day next year its the one that does 50x4.

Box build is happening today, it is raining right now, waiting for it to let off to get the first layer of resin in the box... Four more cuts today, and than its just assembly and glass work. I am probably gonna order 80 sq feet of second skin soon and throw some of that in. I have already removed all of my factory speakers. All of the equipment for this build is in my signature. Will be updating throughout the day. Box is 3.68 cubic feet (before port displacement) with 69 sq inches of port. Double front baffle, countersunk screws, and completely resin'ed. Will be holding two 10" TC sounds oem's and tuned to 42 hz. So here are some pics:

I thought my spl system was on a budget with 2 grand... Woofers- 350 (tc sounds oem's) Kinetik hc2000 200 of ebay Wiring ~150 Sound Deadening ~200 Dominick Irragi Alt 400 mdf, fiberglass, wood glue etc... 300 Time in front of a meter so far- 40 oh and I got side-tracked and ended up with a set of morel pulse components and hertz tweets on the way there. And that isn't including the amps i have/ getting. *** note that the amps prices are not calculated in the 2 grand budget, and that originally I was going to have 2 10" bl's or audioque hd3's.

Why does it seem like a 2 channel amp? just because it has 2 sets of speaker outs, that is needed for strapping the amps.

Or he could stick with the btl, and eventually upgrade to 1 saz-1500d per coil.

It was my noobishness, i thought it was going b/c it wouldn't charge past 13.9 volts. with everything off. Over the winter, early spring it was sitting at 14.3-14.5 volts. with everything off.

If i had to choose and they cost the same, I wouldn't be able to.

Personally I think the Q and the 3000 are a great match, go with the bl if you want output, but go with the Q or 3000 if you want lows. Watch out for the 3000 being out of stock though. Just check my signature. You can see what I chose but I love Fi as well.

I lied dominick makes a 200amp for my car... Yay, considering my alt is dying right now.

Here are some of my comparison pics, all 10" woofers. Note the impressive size of my newest pair (10" Tc sounds oem's.) TC sounds oem 10" against a 10" alpine type E TC sounds oem, side by side with a Diamond D1 woofer.

This is the show on the 19th??? I am contemplating going, but won't be ready... I will be at the show in ny on the 20th in Saratoga. Denim, you feel like driving 8 hours. There is a 1x event in 'Toga.

That box looks awesome. I love different looks in car audio. There are too many plain jane carpet and vinyl boxes around.
