well after doing all the math the zcon 18s take up to much space so i think im going to get the 15s for my expedition

do you have the old style dash that has the 3 piece radio or the one that has the din and a half radio

i have used a center channael before in a few sq cars i did helped the sound quit well a pair of 4in or 5.25 work good.. i did once build a custom dash that had 4 6.5 componets that rocked

Talked with the dealer and the alternator for my car is rated at 145 amps couldnt get any more details then that and honestly not sure what other details I would be looking for. not bad but looking at the current draw from the 2 amps with just the sub amps ur lookin at 240 to 320 amps of current draw even with an extra bat big 3 upgrade to be safe you might just have to bit the bullet and get a alternator upgrade with that much going on youll be diffentlly over working the stocker

just wondering how many runs of 0ga power wire will i need for my system it will be in my 97 expedititon it will have either 4 rockford fosgate amps or 5 sundown amps... fosgate wise 2 2500bds and a 1000.4 and a 400.2 ....and sundown 2 2500ds and 3 125.2s.... batts will be 4 xs power d3100 and a ho 270 amp alt. im only askin sence it has been so long and all my systems till now have never needed more than 1 run of 0ga wire

sounds like to me the stock radio is clipping at high volume it happens from time to time when useing a stock deck. you can try to get a better loc that has adjustable gains to help your signal from clipping

that should be just about right for the 15s in the small ported box Is the box not big enough? yeah i got the specs on the tech page at the top of the forum page

you wouldnt have to strap them together to run 2amps one them one and one.. 1sub and amp dont worry about straping them

you will need to retune the subs to the new position...when they where firing in to the trunk it was actting like a bandpass and giving you a bass boost so try that and see
