If its only one sub, get d2. If you run two subs, get d1
  2. What, nobody runs db electrical lol?
  3. I would also like to add as denim stated above, that Chris (DB-r), from db-r.com, could give you an accurate comparison, if there is such a thing between the two. All that being said, I believe the sundown takes the win.
  4. Well, even though staying within known specs is safe, if you're willing to take some risks and know what you're doing, can pay off somewhere. Look at Steve meade, his 18s are in 5 cubes each and do extremely well. yes, he does have about 5k to each, alot of why the combination works in small enclosures. also seen a single 18 in over 11 cubes doing well with different intentions. Both above and below usual requirements for most 18'' subs. good results can be had if done with proper design constraints.
  5. What vehicle is being used?
  6. yes, a d1 in series would be 2ohm nominal
  7. Pre-sale still on?
  8. Am I correct in saying you will be building these in the form of a base model, that way the customer can customize? With options, i.e. suspension, coil, cooling etc?
  9. ^^^^That is the question^^^^

should be fine if you can squeeze it through the trunk opening, or build it in the trunk
  12. Sounds like your charcoal canister. They usually can only hold around 3oz of liquid (designed for vapor not liquid). Thats why you're not suppose to keep filling your tank when the pump stops the first time. this extra fuel sits on a sensor in the vent tube and causes the evap system to not work properly It's very important to not overfill vehicles of the 2000s model years, especially the latest models for shure
  13. Looks like a 300lb plus enclosure............yikes
  14. 160plus...........
  15. Too much power for one SSD. Thats power enough for two SSDs. I would do that or a BL with flatwind and cooling
  16. 12'' BTLs are not a great idea for daily. I could be wrong, but I remember Scott saying something about the cone and spiders having clearance issues. Though I'm not totally confident I'm right, you may want to do some research on the topic. I believe he sells 12''btls mainly or stricktly for spl only setups. I would e-mail Scott or nick to make shure it would be fine for daily. Maybe they've changed em since, because I remember this was an issue a long time ago Just trying to give a heads up

They have a flagship vehicle make with entry level audio.........go figure
  18. I've had as low as 800rms going to my 18 and it was still impressive. I suggest you dont cut any corners on the enclosure, and it wont really matter if you have the smaller amp.
  19. I have my 100.2 on high pass, even though its going through passive crossovers to my components. In my app its cleaner sounding reducing distortion even more. It also cut more sub bass my components dont need to recieve anyway. You might have to play around with your settings till you find what your ears like best
