Everyone else is doing one so I figured I would too. I am only going to show pictures up to right before the final install, since I am re-doing that Wednesday. The HU, love this thing been a very nice HU to me. Some pictures of the equipment 2 12" BLs, flatwind and cooling 2 Sundown 1500.1s All the equipment + my old subs 75 Feet of 0 Gauge (not including the 25 feet already in the car) First off, building the false floor. Had to raise it up on 2x4s to make clearence for the batteries. Running the 0 gauge, I actually managed to fit 3 runs of it down one side of the car Everything just about wired up Carpeting the Floor More pics coming Wednesday Night! BTW: Some pics of the doors being deadned: At the beginning: All deadned: Some pics of the box build....should be done by Sat night at latest... BTW this is a very complicated box, the port is lifted 3" (doing a false floor) to clear the amps but the subs get that extra 3" for airspace. Specs are 4.8 cubes after displacement @ 32hz.

Yea I plan on doing that eventually, didn't really have the time to do it when I was doing the doors.

  4. I know it would be much easier to do 90s, but I want this to be fancy I dont' know if there will be a benefit from this to 45-ing the corners, but I think this would be a very nice looking finished product. Also because I'm putting 2cubes in the center of his bench and down in front of his controls for his a/c, cdplayer, ect, this curve will allow him to reach the dash easier w/out the sharp edge getting in the way. It'll be worth the effort if it turns out like I plan. Steve Meade has some insane stuff, and I've looked at some of the amazing work he's done, and while I'm sure he's better at it than me, I know patience and some effort could really have this looking good. That's what I mean, do 90 degree angles with the MDF to make it easy and then glass curves over the angles so it gives it that nicelook.
  5. Why not just do 90 degree angles instead of curves and fiberglass the curves.
  6. I would reccomend doing a 16v set up if you can do dual alts. A few Kintiks, and 4 runs of 0/1. I have ~5000 on my stock alt and 2 HC2000s and get good voltage, I believe it is becuase of the all the 0 gauge wiring though.
  7. Well I use 10 gauge for mine.

I love the Cd5000 and the Germaniums, very loud and strong midbass. As of now I have a stock alt, but on full tilt the sundowns where all seeing 13.x at idle!! And yea I was surpised I got it all in there too, I just took my time (took me a few hours), 4 runs of the 0/1. I think it helps ALOT.

  10. That BTL looks sick, makes me wish I got some BTLs with a 3rd magnet lol.
  11. LOL...thought I'd throw in a useles reply as well.
  12. Not sure of exact output, but I can tell you the 100.4 bridged is a beast
  13. We've talked several times, perhaps you'd recognize my e-mail, [email protected] Got it. Not having real names on the forums gets me. Did you set the gains like our last e-mail? Based on this latest bit of information I would try a different RCA cable too if I were you if you are still having an issue. I turned the gains down like you said, down to 36 I think and was very dissapointed with the output, I didn't get a chance to see if they kept going in protect though. I took the amps out soon after. I am building a new box and paneling it all off right now though so they aren't in. I ordered some KnuKnoceptz RCAs to see if it will help, also bought a few fans to cool them down.

  16. Interesting, still haven't figured my problem, amps are going back in next week though. Now I have Stinger RCAs from the HU to the master and master to slave, you think just the master to slave RCAs coud be the issue or possibly the HU to Master RCAs?
  17. Tez why don't you just bite my set up competely :-p except I'm at 1 ohm strapped
