The BTL will love the power.. I'd go that route if you're looking to only run one sub.. I'd do the 250 amp alt, depending on where you get THE alt, they seem to do more @ idle than 300 amp alts.. & also, very nice head unit.. could get better.. but that will work great for your application.

Good God.. you're gonna notice a HUGE audible difference once you get new alts..

I don't think the BL would like 3k.. I've seen idiots blow BTL's on 3k.. 2 BL's would like 3k though.

Who still meters in the kick, w/doors open? I know some do it @ the headreast, sealed. Some do it on the dash sealed.. Is the kick even still a legal score?

Yea he bought the 2 off of me and he as 2 of Chad's in there now on a Memphis 4kw, but once he gets some money he is going to get 4 sundown 3000d's You should go to world finals with us in Indy. we have 4 sundown 3000d's in the rex now, didn't know if you knew that yet or not. I am going to finals in Indy.. w/you guys. Well, probably w/Hank.. but you know.. we'll see you there. I was @ SoundCheck a week or 2 ago when we did THE charity thing that got rained out.. & I was bullchittin' around w/RP, helpin' him set chit up in THE Rex.. those 3000's = BEAST. They definitely didn't like being strapped @ .7 though..

I've heard them on about 100 watts a peice, they aren't exactly HARSH.. I've heard MUCH worse. They sounded very good & loud, IMO.
