its going back in my 02 deville... power is 2 sundown 1500ds @ 2 ohms. I had it previously in a chambered t line which I was told it wasn't the best box for my application. I kept blowing it even when there was no clipping whatsoever, gains were set very carefully and all... if this box turns out fine I will need a box for 2 of sundowns big boy 15's in a 76 caprice. when I get my other 2 1500ds.

max dimensions are 36w17h23d... is it possible to have sub back port side or would the traditional sub and port back work better. 15 fully loaded by the way

I know... That's what's baffling me, we sat there and went thru it all... That is why this time I finally found someone with an o scope to really set those beastly amps correctly... I live in a small city and when I say o scope, people look at me stupid.but for the record... I was not at all careless with it at all. I guess the best way to learn is experience. I am learning everyday more, and understanding more about car audio... I maybe selling the motor soon because I was still looking for 2 15s which was the original plan... Until nightshades changed my mind...

I properly set the amps was generous with the volume and gain on the amp set@ 10 o clock. No clipping whatsoever. But I will be getting at 2 15 b stocks by next month. A few more steps to an all sundown setup... Been dreaming about this I bought my set of 1500s

Thinking of a change from the BTL and going to 2 15s before I sell the whole car next year... I always wanted to give them a run... And sundown amps are the chit so the subs can't be far behind... If I need bigger I have room. Car is a 02 caddy deville. blow through type design or sealed off from the trunk is the way I wanna go. Just waiting on the new 100.4 and I'm done

Thinking about switching up from my 15 BTL to 2 Qs 15... Would I see any huge difference in loudness... I mean the BTL is god awful loud but I'm always wondering. Trying to figure how to fit everything back there the two dekas, 2 1500ds and a 100.4. Thinkin 7 cubes @ 30 hz.

I demo'd for a gut with 2 12 hifonics junk and he drove off dissappointed in the bragging he did earlier at work. Most impressive 1 15 I've seen yet!!!

No vids yet and I do have pics on my blackberry and my computer at home is trash until I stop spendin on car audio and buy another one.just moved in new apartment and chit is still in boxes camcorder no charger found.

Oh... Didn't clarify, gettin a new car 91 cadillac fleetwood broughm soon, that's the system and I'm thinkin 4 12s instead... The BTL is a temp system until I give wife the keys to my 02 deville... Which is gonna hurt. This is my first setup though, my wife loves it. Its rare when you find a women who doesn't mind me and my hobbies. When I give the over to her in a few months she wants some memphis flats.hear by far the BTL is the loudest 1 15 trunk setup around.people are suprised to see one sub.

Finished the recone on a fully loaded BTL 15 today and this thing sounds even better than what I wouldve ever guess... I have one question though... I brought the sub to a friend who owns a shop to get the recone and after playin it a bit... Pulled up to a friends house and noticed the dust cap fell off, so I bought some more epoxy 5 min loctite and put it back on no problems. After expecting my little glue job the dust is maybe 1/16 of a inch off from where it used to be. Will this hinder the subs performance at all? Its sounds fine to me, still loud as chit...(My wife said it sounds like a machine guns going off in the trunk.LOL) this is only a temp system... Next system is 3 12 Fi Qs with a 1500d on each one... But that's next year!!! Any input would be great. Thanks

I have 2 1500ds on it and I had them on a beat up BTL... The guy I bought it from had tears in the spider and tensils were turning colors a little when I got it... Played it for a week until it was time to recone. But when it was in there... It sounded way better than what I thought on music. The box itself is flat goes very low and the flex is crazy.I'm planning on getting everything done b/c I just finished the recone today with woven tinsels this time should be interesting. You will never go back to another sub company after dealing with Fi.will make vids when I find my digital camcorder... Just moved so a lot of stuff still in boxes. Hands down I will never do anything other than Fi performance to price ratio is insane. Can't wait to get metered just to see where I stand for kicks. The seats in the DTS/Devilles don't fold but ill make a way.

I have a old model btl in a chambered t line built by Rich and sounds great... Big as hell... But loud as hell. Not a full T line but one built of the 1/4 wavelength theory.

i run 2 strapped at 2 ohm on a 15 BTL in my cadillac deville on 2 deka intimidators and a redtop and i have no problems... never seen voltage drop lower than 12.9 and i crank mine. i will never use another amp again. still trying to figure a way to get 2 nightshade 15s or 3 nightshade 12s on a extra 1500d i'm thinking about getting. i have a ohiogen one-off 225 amp alt on standby. awesome amps.

it's like the tinsels instead of coming the way they look on BTL i have now they are like 4 strands , so i was very confused when i saw it, but it is not i single tinsel at all. i have no idea how this is supposed to be soldered at all... i hope there's an explanation...

looks like 2 sets on the recone which have woven tinsels, which is awesome... but i have questions how to get them soldered... of course im not doing it my self.... just questions on it.

Does placing an order for a recone usually take this long or are their any problems with production??? I kinda need by the end of month if possible,I guess the whole 3-5 business day thing in this situation is not a factor... Not being impatient I don't think, I just like to be notified on any type of update at all. I love the products and will probaly never plan to use another sub company.I hate doing business over email that doesn't get answered and post that lead to nothing also... If this does get an answer I HOPE, once again I aint looking for my order to be hurried, an honest update is all I ask.

You'll be waiting... Its worth for the product IMO, wouldn't do business with no other company! I had a used and abused fully loaded BTL 15 for a week and that was one of the best weeks of my life to date... Can't wait for the recone to really get back in to it!
