I would say that nothing was shipped today because it was a holiday. I could be wrong.Hopefully mine get shipped this week.I'm so excited for them to say shipped.

I picked up the last 2 refurbs from DB-R and they were on sale for 20% off also.I was going to just buy two new ones but ended up waiting and finding a super deal.Saved alot of money

I ordered mine also on the 2nd of September and i dont even have a tracking number yet.

Well I picked up 2 SAZ-3500 for the price of one so Im happy. Now i just have to figure out what amps to runf or my highs-mids

Well I placed my order back on 2 Sep and Nick has done his best to stay in touch with me about the baskets.I knew when I ordered that it would be awhile before anything was shipped so it didn't bother me much.He does get a little busy but if you email him he will email back when he gets it.Now with that being said Nick is there a way you could let us all knowif you have starting shipping out these subs?

Im still waiting on news also on the baskets. Haven't heard any updates yet.

Well glad to know thats not the way they ship them. If Nick scrolling this thread has there been any updates on the 18" baskets? Not to thread jack or anything.

Im still up in the wind on this one because two people made good points. I can go with a 2500 and be good or I good go with the 3500 turn it down for daily and whenever I hit up the car shows tune it for burps. So I have about another 2 months before my Truck gets here so I will keep asking around and seeing what others have proven to be a good combination.Thanks alot guys

You sound like your more worried about the gain than the sub. If it's not a free air sub I wouldn't be playing it outside the box.You can hook it up to make sure it works but not play it loud hooked up to an amp. I'm pretty sure that once you put it in a box that sound will go away.So try that and then respond back.K

Holy crap that sub is jacked. I hope that wasn't the sub you sent back.Hopefully the packaging on my subs coming overseas are not like that. I would hate to get my 18's and they look like that.

Well first off let me say I have been fllowing this forum for about 2 months now and I love it. I have to say that I was in such a rush for info that I never look in this section or paid attention to having to post in here for your first 2 post. Anyways my name is Kenneth. I am US military stationed abroad in Italy and enjoying life. I have been into car audio for a long time and since joining the military and having enough money to do the things I like, I started installing my own systems and building my own boxes. I am currently trying to get my Avalanche shipped here so I can start on my build for it. I was on the FI website looking at their subs the first time I noticed it and then I was on the SMD forum and someone on there was referring to this forum also. I have to say it's alot of good info in this forum. I have found alot of information i was looking for and if I didn't find it then someone answered my post extremely fast.

Nice. Well I'm waiting on my first 2 FI subs to be made and shipped to me. I had already planned on putting the FI sticker in my window for the shows I go to here in Italy. It would be nice if you got stickers at least with your subs when you purchased them.

Shipping wasnt that bad. It was like $100 for both shipped here to Italy but to my military APO address.Now if you were talking about the shipping of my Truck then yeah it was way more than I thought it would be but in the end worth it.

Okay. I ordered around the 1st of September so I should be in the same batch with you if your the first one. Either way hopefully they get the baskets soon for you but for me its no rush because I'm still waiting on my truck to be shipped here to Italy. Once it gets here it's going to be project time LoL

That's funny you replied to this Nick.I was going to email you tonight about that upgrade while we wait for the 18" baskets.You just had to send me an updated PayPal for the difference.On the subject though Box space is not a problem for 2 18"s right now and I need it to be both daily and SPL since I drive my car daily and I go to carshows here in Italy to compete.That's why I asked about them handling more than RMS because it would only be for burps at these events.If Nick says there's a risk of frying it then I would definitely not be doing that Sundown 3500.

So I ordered 2 18" FI BTL's and I'm trying to figure out exactly how much power these subs can hold.They say that their rated at 2000RMS but I have heard people putting 3000 on them no problem.The subs will be fully loaded and I was thinking about putting 1 Sundown 3500 on each sub.Is that too much?
