I have an MB quart 4.80 running 6.5" 3 way infinity kappas in the front and infinity kappas 3 way 6x9s in the rear. Each has a 2 ohm nominal on each channel of the amp. If I bought some crescendo super tweets would I be able to wire them and still make a difference to my front stage? I am planning on upgrading my 4 channel in the future to a Hertz or quality 4 channel after I get my alternator this winter. Should I just wait until I upgrade my 4 channel and just buy a component set?

My volt meter is reading from the fuse prior to entering the amp. Its almost a volt difference while playing a tone or same song/note @ same volumes. Waiting for Xmas until I get my mechman 240 =\, I know my batteries are not getting charged the way they like. Thanks for explaining the physics, however.

Probley wouldn't have made a difference from the aq3500. Probley re doing my enclosure and adding another 3500 as soon as I can find another that's more like it =]

I seem to have a lot more voltage drop to rear fuse to amp when the seats are up, rather than down. This is a trunk car. Is lack of air flow making the sub work harder? I have the rear 6x9 vacant..

might be an aspect of their cooling system that came loose. Maybe they plug the pole piece.

make sure you have the electrical and gains set low before you wire to 1. I don't even have to look at that link to tell you that the box is tuned to mid 40s probably. Set your subsonic to the fs of the sub instead of 25.

What's your electrical like? That board on the hifonics is power hungry and inefficient.

SA and Fi are very different woofers. the 3" coil on the SSD would be louder. If you stick with the SSD and are looking for loud with SQ, stick with the copper coils, standard qts, and port a 4.5-5 cu ft box @ 33-36 Hz

I would say 3.6-4.0 cu ft. @ your tuning. Do some playing around with winisd, exc.

Did you buy this off ebay? I thought this sub was comparable to the XXX v3 back in the day?
