  1. do you have a release date on these yet and maybe a set price?
  2. yeah, thats not right at all man. it's not your fault the price of Neo is higher than expected. you paid for a product and you should receive that product or a refund. can't wait to hear what IA has to say regarding this matter.
  3. guess AA doesn't have any love for the SSA forum. been waiting for months now. i thought the vendors had to be active on the forum to stay?

yeah, i just want the amp to run the front towers when i want to go balls to the wall. the rest is for when i run the HT. right now i have a pretty shitty 5.0 speaker set up that all came in 1 box. small little satellite speakers that have zero depth when it comes to output. my sub is lacking to say the least (12in. JBL 250W amp). if you were going to put together a HT setup with all Cerwin Vega, what would you choose and it couldn't be the CMX line (except maybe the center channel and if chosen the bookshelfs) what would you choose based on already having the XLS-215 fronts. it's on a 7.1 Onkyo TX-NR809 reciever.

oh and for my side surrounds, would it be stupid to get a 6.5in. XLS-6 bookshelf speaker to hang higher with the XLS-215 floors in front, and maybe the XLS-28's in the rear? please educate me so i don't try something really stupid and waist money doing it. thanks

also, i was thinking about getting some XLS-28's for my rear surround channels, but i was wondering if it would be a better idea to get something like a single 12in cabinet cerwin vega VE-12F's. again, i don't know jack squat about home theater so your help is appreciated. i'm just looking for something that will give me the best surround sound at a great price. i also have a thing for Cerwin Vega so i'm sticking with the brand and i would like all of my gear to match
  9. not a bad unit, but the DEH-X7500HD has a 24bit DA, 7 band eq 6 channel 4V pre-outs and the works. Are you mainly looking for a DD unit?
  10. that is a really great buy! i was gonna suggest the Kenwood KDC-X396 http://www.sonicelec...n-KDC-X396.html . another good option i like Swifts better though
  11. that is a really great buy! i was gonna suggest the Kenwood KDC-X396 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_52148_Kenwood-eXcelon-KDC-X396.html . another good option
  12. the sound that will come out of the other type of horns will be much smoother than the super tweets and they will get pretty damn loud and they'll sound good doing it. you'll have a lot more range with those horns to better tune the system as well.

absolutely absurd output in my home, just like in my truck. thats why i want it. i don't like my neighbors much either

i'm looking for a pretty sturdy 2 channel amp for my home theater system and came across this and was wondering what you thought about it? i don't know much of anything when it comes to home stereo amplifiers. i want something that is going to push around 200-300rms at 8ohms if you have any suggestions i would definitely be open to them. this is one that i found and it seems to have everything i need, but i don't know the brand and how good this would actually be. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adcom-GFA-555se-Stereo-Amplifier-/130717532260?pt=US_Home_Audio_Amplifiers_Preamps&hash=item1e6f5f4064
  19. Well if you snag it I'd love to see it. I've ben considering finding one and trading my Formula for it. J yeah, get rid of that POS GM and get a Ford! i love Foxs', they are so easy to make fast
  20. Design the enclosure for desired response, not the amount of power you are running. I do for both the amount of power and the response.
  21. you would be just fine running in that 7.5 cube net area. with that amp on them you will want to run a larger enclosure to get the most out of the system. the amp is alright, but it doesn't put out rated power so you'll need a more efficient enclosure to achieve a higher output. also, I would make the port opening at around 15.5Hx6W
  22. That's pretty much null after accounting for average power being lower due to impedance. right, it will always be lower. you'll never see full power out of an amp in the real world.
  23. what size amp are you going to have on these subs? you should always factor that in as well. if you are running higher power levels to them you want to keep the box volume down a bit, but if you are running around the rms range for the sub then going larger will be louder and more efficient. I vote 7.5 cubes@30hz
