Winter 07/08 "I went in a ditch!" count
I'll start as #1... I was coming back from my 6-9PM class when my brakes deciding to initiate their LOCKING feature... About 5 seconds later after vigorous brake pumping, to no avail, I end up at ~30 degree angle in the ditch. Thankfully, I slowly slid into the ditch and didn't go head first, so it wasn't a violent stop, and there was no damage to the car (that I can tell right now...it drove fine). I got stuck with a $75 towing charge which, all things considered, I'm not complaining about. It does hurt the ego a bit though :\ No pics, as I wasn't expecting this to happen so the camera wasn't handy.

Embarking on THE system build
Sell the 07 honda, pick up a CRX, do two 10"s in a CRX-style box and strap two Sundown 3000D's on them and you should be able to beat those 6 15's No guarantee the Icon's can take 7000 watts, though.

Vehicle Upgrade Opinions
I'm a Chevy guy I'm not too worried about the interior as it only needs to last a few years before the vehicle most likely gets turned into a dedicated wheeler. I like that the blazer averages about 18 mpg, because I drive about 55 miles round trip to work.

some of my new sexy toys came in the other day
I take it the RE's are going to be rearfill? No need to put them on an amp if so.
-
which amp
I like to have matching amps, and I'm a huge fan of Sundown due to their quality and customer service (Jacob = A+++), so I personally would go with the Sundown. I will admit, though, that I have no experience with the other amp.

Vehicle Upgrade Opinions
With my new job, I've decided it's finally time to upgrade to what I've wanted for a while now -- a small/medium sized SUV. I'm looking at either '96+ blazers or '99+ cherokees (if I can find one cheap), although I'm open to suggestions. Anybody have experience with either of these vehicles? Any other suggestions for something similar? Budget is most likely $7,000 max so too new is out of the question.

1998 Chevy Lumina low-end build
I threw together a temporary ported box quickly for it, but I didn't take any pictures as I was in a race against the weather (won by 10 min!). It's not that great and there are some decent size gaps between joints, but I'll be building the actual box for it soon. I'll take pics saturday of my temp box with the duct tape sealant

1998 Chevy Lumina low-end build
So this build is gonna have to wait a few more days... I went to Lowes to get the wood and have them cut it (college + work = no time to cut the wood myself [and no access to a table saw doesn't help]). The guy at Lowes CUT THROUGH THE SAW'S POWER WIRE halfway through cutting the sheet down. I went to Home Depot and they finished up the cutting free of charge. I got back home and noticed the dumbass at Lowes marked that he cut out one of the sides, however I do not have it. He also messed up the cuts by quite a bit. This is the 5th or 6th time I've used Lowes to cut the wood and this is the first time they've ever been bad, or at least this bad. I work tomorrow and Thursday and my grandma's in town this weekend so I have no idea when this'll get done, but I've already sold my MTX's so I'm really missing the bass .

1998 Chevy Lumina low-end build
Very much so... This car is a bit of a pain to work with though (Read: battery under washer fluid, trunk lid, lack of grounding spots, and more) .

What's the problem with running it at 2 ohms?

Need some advice please
I'm not sure about an increase in SQ but you would have the comfort of knowing that your amp will actually be warrantied/replaced should anything happen to it, unlike your eD nine.1.

98 blazer ssd's or btls
Mind explaining what that means? Does that mean "I don't care about my electrical system" or "I don't care about how much it will cost to upgrade it, I just will upgrade as necessary"?

Did my big 3 today and wiring questions
That's because copper costs more, and it'd cost more to buy the wire from knukonceptz if you bought copper wires. Pay more = get more back from recycling. You paid less for your wires, that's why you got less back.
