Having a hard time getting ahold of IA
The problem with using polyfill in a ported box is there is no definite way of knowing how much volume it adds. Tuning the port is based on box volume, so without knowing enclosure volume tuning it is a crap shoot.

12" in a 2.5 cu.ft. vs 15" in 3 cu.ft.
This, I always like going with the smaller setup. It allows you more room to play around with box designs.

Setting 3500D with AC voltmeter?
No one can give you the voltage as every install will be different. Sure they can tell you 59.16V, but there is no way of telling if your clipping or not with a DMM.

12" Flatlyne Cutout Diameter?
Yes, why wouldn't it be.

Box For 2 Audioque HDC3 12s 3k+ rms
That is an awfully high tuning, imo. If you still wanted a high tuning. A couple changes I would make are, the port is almost ending in the corner I would increase the port wall a quarter inch and throw a 45* in the corner. That would put your box at 4.18ft^3 @ ~38hz, im guessing sub displacement at .16ft^3 per sub also.

That will be more then enough room.

18" BL fully loaded questions
IMO to do a 15" in your trunk it would need to face up. If it faces the rear the size of the box traps the sound in the rear cavity and doesn't allow the sound to move into the cabin, at least in my experiences.

Welcome to the IHoP
I want to go so bad, but they have no Detroit date. I missed them last time time cause I was in Vegas:bull:, would have much rather went to the concert. Because of no date near me I am almost thinking of traveling to see them.

18" BL fully loaded questions
Its been awhile since I've had a ported box in my car but IIRC the dimensions where 32"W X 21"D X 14"T. I think you could take it to 35.75"W and still be safe getting it in the trunk. I should go out to my car and figure the dimensions cause I was going to build another ported box but I'm lazy, its raining, and the box in there is to heavy for me to dick around with right now.

FI SSD 15" enclosure Q
Are you dead set on that amplifier, I noticed it doesn't have a subsonic filter and that could end up bad for you.

That box looks right at home in there.

Sound quality mp3 player??
I may suspect ///M5 was referring to a car audio installation. In a car audio intallation it would be hard to tell the difference do to the noise and such in a automobile, in a home setup up that is a different story.

18" BL fully loaded questions
IMO and experience with that body style of grand prix either two 10"s or two 12"s. Anything bigger and you are running out of room for air flow and flexibility of box design.
-
18" BL fully loaded questions
And try to fit a box that size through the trunk opening, not gonna happen. You will have to build in the trunk to do it.
-
18" BL fully loaded questions
Unless your going to build the box in the trunk, you are not going to get the airspace needed for an 18" sub to fit through the trunk opening.

What Are You?
I Usually go for the best price/performance which has been AMD from the K5 days to Athlon XP, but I recently built a Intel Core i5 750 based system. Video cards I've had Nvidia and Ati, Right now its a Radeon 5770. I still like Nvidia cards better after dealing with the problems I've had with this card. So Right now it is. Core i5 750 overclocked to 3.8Ghz 4GB Corsair DDR3 Asus mobo (don't recall model off hand) Radeon 5770 Corsair 850W power supply Antec 300 case

need amp help
You need to find the color code on it. But a word of warning resistors don't really fail to much if at all, it was more then likely another component that failed and caused the resistor to burn. Chain reaction type thing.
