Very informative post...thank you I would love to read less wise-ass comments and better grammar... To me the interior looks damn nice for an A/B amp. Cheap deal. I almost bought one from this forum. Look in the classifieds section. Kappa456 (IIRC) was selling one. 50x2 @ 4 ohms as far as I can remember. And stable down to 0.5ohms stereo. it wasnt supposed to be a "wise-ass" comment. i know they are old school amps, just askin if it was supposed to put out 2200 It doesn't suggest anywhere that it puts out 2200 watts unless you fall into the name game. You realize that it could be a 2 channel amp and be 2x200 watts and just shortened to 2200 for a name. It looks like a nice decent amp.
  2. Whats an Ib style sub? Infinite baffle. They are more popular in the home theater crowd. Essentially what you do is mount the sub woofer so that the back wave is completely isolated from the front and the two waves have no chance at meeting one another. The rear chamber is so big that the woofer is playing free air hence the low power handling.

You might want to hide your number on the net.

I wouldn't worry about it because that I dont think it will happen for a couple months and after it happens you should still be able to get one whether it be from db-r or used from someone else(I have a feeling some people might sell theirs for the SAZ-2000d).
  6. It seals fairly well but does not make the box sturdier, adding mat would help with sturdiness but it would be better to use bracing.
  7. CEA That makes no sense whatsoever. Birth sheets mean squat.
  8. If you are going to use it as the unit was intended for or even care anything about what the unit was intended for then yes get it.
  9. I'm excited to see what they come out with.

1.75 ported for a fifteen. NO dont use it, it will give you a terrible impression of the sub when it is only the box. Return the box to the store please.
  11. How loose is the belt?? The pulley could be a smaller diameter so you may need a smaller belt.
  12. I think Id rather use Fmods. plus with a Fmod you wont need another rca cable. http://store.hlabs.com/pk4/store.pl?view_product=10
  13. Why not try the cheapest option first like stated in the first reply?? There is a very good chance you will be happy with it and it wont cost much.
  14. It does it is called the sensitivity adjustment.
  15. Please search I found this five threads down from yours. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=21542 Sounds like in a couple days but fi isnt even sure when they will arrive.
  16. I didnt know they added a fishing section on here???
  17. Some component sets will come with adapter plates or you just make some out of sheet metal/wood. If going with wood I would consider sealing it with something so it doesn't pick up moisture.
  18. Unless competing seriously I wouldn't run any amplifier below its rated safe load. Its just to much stress on the amp/electrical system. I thought refurbished 1500s were like 350 a piece DB-r sites down so I cant check. Or they have a sale on them now, brand new for 425 a piece. You could also try something like the Kicker ZX2500 or Hifonics Colossus. If it were up to me I would get the 1500ds.
  19. While I don't condone buying MA Audio, but you cant trust the reviews on that site. Also you cant guarantee he wont blow his subs with the Sundowns. As to what you are looking for I would save some money and go with the two Sundown 1500ds, as stated before Jacob is great at answering any questions you have and taking care of any problems you have in a professional manner.
  20. Box

  23. Right click on desktop and choose properties. That brings up Display properties, choose the Settings tab. There should be two boxes labeled 1 & 2 choose 2 and at the bottom of the window there is a box that says extend my desktop to this monitor uncheck it. then choose ok
