  1. Hey everyone. I was hoping I could get some input. I am selling my current sub and enclosure on Craigslist locally, not on here. But im not sure if I am asking the right price. I'm selling my Sundown e-12 d4 and the custom designed/built enclosure. I'm asking 140. is this too much? Thanks for any opinions!
  2. This build looks badass. Love it.
  3. i have the newer dso nano, and love it to death. was on the fence between that or a dd-1, and some people had comparison vids, just goes to show the inaccuracy, lack of varying freqs, and EXTREME price markup. Dont get me wrong, I dig smd and what he does, but the dd-1 is def not my cup of tea
  4. If I only had the money haha. From what I have heard and seen, they are amazing subs
  5. i would not tune upwards of 40. i did with mine and hated the outcome. had no lows. try tuning even lower. if you insist on a higher tuning, go with higher 30's first before going to 40's.
  6. You're posting on an audio forum haha, at least a 12 to fill in the low end
  7. Cant wait to see more!
  8. This looks dope as hell. Can't wait to see it done! And hopefully a vid
  9. Looks to be plenty. Do it
  10. Sounds pretty sweet, a 4th order rear deck blow through woulda been cool too. looking forward to seeing and hearing how it turns out
  11. That is NOT how you measure cone area, not even close.Pi*R*R or for an 8 - 4*4*Pi. Of course that is WRONG too. It is just more right than what you posted. Using the Sd from the drivers is what you need to do. A big surround eats way more into an 8 than a 10. I'd expect the Sd of an 8 to be around 0.02 and the 10 a little bigger than 0.03 (both in meter squared) u been here too much for too long No, your just pissed because you are new here. I can tell your profile pic is not yours...
  12. You can make it any shape you want, no need for it to be "flat" all around.
  13. Looks good man, I've always liked 2.1 setups for my pc, even with gaming.

  15. Yeah really nice so far, I look forward to reading a review of the xcon
  16. A friend of mine just picked up this amp and he is very happy with it, as well as some people in a car audio group run Crescendo and love em. So if that's what your looking to get, I'd say do it.
  17. You should be good on anything around 500-800 watts
  18. Hey, sorry I was so brief, at that moment I was really pissed at my amp, I do know how to use an Oscope, I went through a year of electronics in High School a few years back and have a general know-how. The wave was 1kHz either alone (with nothing playing) or as noise on the 40 Hz tone, i never checked the voltage while the tone was playing as I thought it would be more important to see what it was on its own, ended up being 200 mV. I noticed that as I turned the gain up, this went away. So i decided, eff it, im just going to tune it as normal, after that I zoomed back it, and the noise was gone. I don't know why it went away, but im glad its gone. After a peak at searching on google images of sine wave noise, it seems it might have come from one of the filters on the amp. Any ideas?
  19. It shows like 150 somthing hertz, altough, I am only playing a normal 40hz tone. there isnt a second frequency. and im not sure if its 1v peak to peak
  20. When the sub is connected it sounds normal, but this is still there. This is supposed to be 40 Hz.
  21. Hey everyone, I just got my o scope and decided to tune my system. First i did the door speakers since they are ran off the HU, and found I have a max volume of 31/50, all the sine waves looked good, went smooth as butter.... then i went to the sub amp, brz1200d, and i have the weirdest thing showing up on the scope. a picture will be below, or a link. i have eliminated the rca's, hu, and almost all factors with this. even with no signal going to it, and just the amp on, no rca's connected, no bass knob, and i still get a feedback.... please help me figure out why this is happening, i dont want to bump my sub till this is figured out.
