  1. Did the warden get a rms rating increase? Yes it did. The new Warden is rated at 3500 watts rms.Awesome! I loved my warden when I had it last year. Got crazy loud and sounded good! 21" was a wow factor haha
  2. Did the warden get a rms rating increase?
  3. I'm interested! Where will it be placed in the line up?
  4. Look on c a c o .com too. I always see a lot of subs for sale there.
  5. Welcome!!! Your lucky to be close to big Jon! He knows his shit The ssa xcons are beast subs. They sound amazing and get crazy loud. I have 1 12 and people can't believe it's just one 12 haha still surprises me every time I hear it too. I will have my other 12 installed in a few weeks.
  6. The recommended enclosure size for the 12 sealed is 1 cube. From my understanding of sealed boxes, the bigger the sealed box the better the lows will be. I think it's because the fs is lowered? Not sure if that's what it is. So if you want it to play lower better than go with a bigger box. I'd say around 1.3-1.5 cubes.
  7. Alt first! This way your stock alt wouldn't struggle to charge the batt bank. Do you have second batt right now?
  8. Yea it does need more port area. When I first designed my box for the dual xcons I thought I was only gonna be able to do a certain amount of port area. I made it so this box was like half of the dual box. i wanted to see howbit would perform. it still sounds good but i know it cab be a lot better. no need to build another box since the other 12 will be ready in a couple weeks. But now I found out I can get a lot more room, so I can have more port area with the dual 12 box.
  9. Since I'm front firing sub/port I made some side panels to block the cabin from the trunk
  10. So here are the pics I have for the 1 12" Xcon. Sexy as hell Installed in box. Made a false floor so everything would slide around Not going to make everything look that good since it will be removed within a month.
  11. My friend has a audiopipe ap1500. PM me if interested.
  12. The response of larger subs being slower than smaller subs is a myth. The response has to do with the box. Both get loud and sound amazing, but I am a little bias with me owning a Xcon.
  13. My cuts are longer than the 2" x 2" though
  14. It is physically impossible. Plywood is a laminant. The center ply could have a void the size of a dinner plate and you would never know until you cut it into. I guess ill have to buy it and try it.
  15. Ohh I know that. So you can most of the time see how good it is from just looking at it. Thanks guys.
  16. How can I spot voids? What do they look like?
  17. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna try that stuff. I've been texting frogcase2002 and he's used the HD birch or whatever it is and he says it works good too.
  18. Just wanted to see what people are running with these since I might be getting in the future. I'm pretty sure you are going to want more port area though. I would say 6".
  19. My Lowes sells cabinet grade birch that is void free. I used it on my battery box. They do not sell it in full sheets tho and it is fairly expensive. Aruco ply is another to look into. I've heard that stuff is good too. I wish I got that price around here! Lol
  20. I don't think I need to do that. It's gonna be just a daily system
  21. Okk thanks Jon. Sounds like it's good usable stuff.
  22. So it was probably the HD or lowes birch then. How did it work out? Better than regular mdf?
  23. Do you know exactly what kind of birch it was?
  24. How much port area are you running? Just curious.
