Why did you make another thread? I'm pretty sure the only reason it has dual + and - is to make it easier for an installer to put wires in. It just makes it easier and I also used them when I strapped two BC2ks.

I had a trailblazer with number of systems in it. I had a 275a singer alt with a deka 9a31. I had 3 runs of 1/0 an big 3 done. Stock front batt. Never went below 13.5v with my bc2k. Also had a small 4 channel alpine amp too.

The box and shipping stuff is only like 6 lbs. I think when I weighed the sub in the shipping box it was like 54lbs. For me at least.

I'm pretty sure he wanted to go with JL, because that's usually what people see most of when they look into marine audio. Is there a difference between regular car audio and marine audio? He's concerned with water damage.

Right now I'm talking to my dad about a system for our boat. We have a Yamaha AR230. He wants a whole new system. He wants new speakers to fill the orginal spots. Then he wants bass. He was looking at JL audio, but I told him not to get that, because it's too expensive for what he wants. I don't think he would really tell the difference between JL and something else. I want to get him some subs and amps from the VVME website. I know they're not the best subs, but they're cheap and will get the job done for what he wants. Warm weather is almost here for us, so we're going to get the boat back soon. I havent really measured what space he has, but I'm pretty sure it will fit 2 10's. Maybe 2 12's. I think the problem would be getting the box through the hole. For the amps, it would be the 1000 rms one. I don't really know much about acoustics and sound travel. So this boat build will be different than a car for me. I'm not sure what would be the best way to have everything, or even what type of box. Behind the seat on the left underneath the ski rack is a seat. The seat lifts up and there is a storage compartment. We were thinking of putting it there along with the amps. There's quite a lot of space under there, but what type of box would be best? Sealed, ported, or 4th order? Reason I don't really know of what to do is, because it's going to be mostly a sealed area. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have 2 ssa zcons and the weight of them is really sagging my car with the big box. I'm going to with 2 sundown X 12s when they come out. I just sold one of the bc2ks I have. I'm going to sell the other once I get the sundown amp. I want the 2500 amp with the subs since they're of the same brand lol I want to sell my c1100.4 and buy one of the sundown 2 or 4 channel amps too.

Really? For the v.2 pre sale thread Jacob said in feb they were shipping out. I thought there was a v.3 so now that I know the v.2 is the newest I don't mind getting a v.1 then.

Ohh I just realized the v.2s were released earlier this year. I thought it was the v.3 that was the new one.
