hey guys! i finally got my zcon in and running with the saz2500 but i just had a couple questions.i connected the bass boost and put it to about 40%. i didnt really change any tuning from the amp, but for some reason it seems like its not loud enough? or like it doesnt catch the lows that good? my old subwoofer/box was tuned at 34hz and was catching lows better ? maybe its damn shitty box that i have.. i noticed its only half inch MDF and wen the bass pounds, it feels like the box is gona break.. u can hear this weird thumping noise wenever theres small hard notes like the box is jus gona blast open..

a little bit more then 4.0 trunk is very small lol plus its a hatch !_!

hey guys.. sorry for the late update.. was really busy! but now i finally have time and just wanted to post some pics of it and Rick thanks for the help! that actually would be reallly awesome if you could do that! but the only problem is i dont think its going to fit.. i have very limited space i mean i only have like 4.0 cu ft to work with what are the specs on ur box? and yea videos will come as soon as i get this installed in the crappy box that i have rite now!!

But as you can see my enclosure problem in my other thread ' enclosure fail' u can see the guy totally messed up on my box for this baby... He only gave it 30 square inches of port.. Duno how its gona work out i paid 260$ for the box nd look wut he made.. There r pics on that thread of the box if u wanna c

Got my Zcon 15' D2 today nd my god... WTF is this BEAST!?!?! This monster is SO huge i have never seen anything like this!! My old sub wasnt even half the size... When i took off the plastic nd placed it on the ground i just got stuck looking at it for a good 10 mins. Im really scared now... For my car that is! This beast will tear it apart in no time!! Cant wait to get this in and running!! Thanks alot SSA!!

lol... my old box was 231 cm... = 90.9 inches And my new box in 210 cm.. = 82.7 inches

im really not sure :S since i have no idea how to build a box... this was made for me, i could ask him later on it was done by a guy to runs one of the most famous audioshops in canada.. hes been runnin this shop for the past 25 years or so. also, what do you think the port size should be? mayb i can suggest him that?

This sucks!! I told the guy at the audio shop to use as much trunk space thats possible for my zcon 15' but i jus picked up the box nd i still have like 3 inches in length in space... Atm its a 4.0cu ft but wouldnt those 3 inches even make it better? Nd its tuned at 32hz! That box cost me 260$ i'll post some pics up soon!

Damn.. The eclipse looks SO clean and nice... I wish i could do all that to mine... but sadly i'll jus b throwin in a box with amps bolted on the rear seats nd done! Thats VERY amazing!! Great work!! Best ive ever seen.

My mechanic did the install, in pretty sure he did it properly unless hes the problem..

The alt is only 6 months old nd my batteries are fairly new(3-4 months) nd even if my belt was brand new it wuld still make the noise.. I think i might just send in the alt to get it checked/fixed if any problem.. Do u think i shuld instal my new system a 15zcon/saz2500 as soon as i get it, or wait for the alternator to be fixed and put back in before installing in the system? Thanks!!

Hmm well ive changed my belt 4-5 times by now bd couple times from different mechanics.. They all seem to not understand y it does not stop squeaking.... My belt even slipped away twice! But now last week i went to my mechanic nd he assured me its my alt.. So according to him i went back to my stock alt nd guess what? Not a single noise =/

Hmm because my alternator started making a LOUD screeching noise for about 10-15 seconds whenever i turn on my car.. It sounds lik a piece of $&@$ nd so embarassing! I have changed the belt quite a few time now, nd even made it tight as possible. May it be because the alternator has gone bad? Or maybe one of the bearings in it? Thanks

Hi there.. I just wanted to know will i have to change my alternator belt? Because i heard the pulley on the high output alternator is smaller so it moves fast nd since then you need a smaller belt then your orignal one? Thanks

Well i'll be putting it in a 4.0 cubic ft tuned to 31-32 hz (still deciding) i want to be able to hit those lows pretty well

Because my friend actually has a same setup but a btl 15 ! He has never heard of a zcon nd says the btl shuld easily be able to blow this ' no name ' sub :@

its lik at 85% ish but then again im getting the zcon15 nd saz 2500 both on their way.. Cant wait!
