  1. I know how they work and what they do. You're not showing me how progressive is better. If linear spiders suck as far as SQ and SPL, you wouldn't see them on 95% of all SQ drivers. Then You wouldn't see them on high powered drivers either, Ti pro's, 1st gen SS XXX, TSNS, T2000's, DDZ's, DD9500 series, tantric HDD/SHD, NSv2's, Zv4's, HDC4's etc. The list goes on. Where are your figures coming from and what driver are they being based on? I'm not trying to criticize anything. Concept and theory.
  2. He didn't cone that driver I did. I don't have the man power to fully assemble the amount of transducers I have coming so he will at his warehouse. I will still inspect everything before I ship them out. Around the end of the second quarter I will have a Klippel QC machine set up to inspect every single transducer. I have no plans on using a linear spider. Besides risking mechanical failure in ported enclosures there are to other reasons not to use a linear spider on a subwoofer 1) a spider with a significant creep creates a more preferable warmer sound and 2) induces even 4th order distortion which gives the sense of more output. How will a linear spider be more prone to mechanical damage than a progressive? I've got 10yr old subs with linear spiders in my truck right now. Most of the drivers I've used have had linear spiders and no mechanical failures. Well except my D6s but they got a tad over 3k each clamped. The two different sets of drivers I've used with progressive spiders, I never cared for their "sound" at all. My ufo's were completely unnatural sounding, they just got loud. Then the 9500g motors with psi parts(not a fan of those parts at all) which were meh.
  3. I thought the craftsmanship looked very familiar. I was impressed by the craftsman ship on my DP's, still waiting on the fourth, then durability testing time. Do plan on progressive across the board too? Or will some of your drivers have linear spiders?
  4. Are you setting up your own jigs and build from scratch or will the parts be assembled off site? What type of materials? All of the subs going to have progressive spiders?
  5. Attempting to clean up some wires I guess and get my voltmeter in which for some reason turns on the wrong way... Remote needs to be constant and constant needs to be remote... Not much better... I'm going to get another ash tray that is not broken and glass it in and then all you'll see is the gauge face if that makes sense. Also, I do not plan on mounting my LC-1. I like being able to move it around. I'll come with something that looks better though. Pulled the HU to try and get my alt whine fixed. It's better but not fixed Also that's not plumbers tape, it's about 3-4 times as thick. I got the Zed in. First impressions are: hate the hardly longer start up lol, there's "more" sound, more little details, the rasp on the high hats stands out more, acoustical sounds are more natural and I have hardly any EQ now. Over all, I'm very very happy. Such a small tight package too.
  6. Where are the soft parts coming from?
  7. 1. Product: Hifonics Zxi150.4 2. Specs: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_24116_Hifonics-Zeus-ZXi150.4.html 3. Description/Condition: Ok/fair cosmetically, few scuffs here and there. Works perfect. If it doesn't sell by the time I move, I'll just keep it. It's been a great amp. Will come with bass knob if you like but I do not have the cable. Has deadener on the rear cover. Always run 4ohm stereo and never on low voltage. 4. Price: : $132 shipped via large flat rate. If buyer wants another method, he/she pays there difference or GFY. 5. Pictures: The "ghost" marks are from me wiping it down. Original fuses
  8. There's a difference between members, mods, super mods and "tech team" I wouldn't stick around for the shit...
  9. Like I said, tact. Good luck though man!
  10. Zero tact was used, it looked like a full on attack. But whatever, you guys can keep running people off.
  11. I read through the other threads. I'm not surprised at all that these guys want to leave. Most of that talk should have been done via PM's....
  12. After a few posts I saw, I figured this would happen...
  13. I think I've given negative rep only a few times..
  14. Get done cutting grass and it starts pouring rain.
  15. Build it a bigger box.
  16. Woooooooooooooooooooooo. I can't wait to get this in. Hopefully later today, I can't wait.
  17. Funny that no one gave him any real helpful info... Except free domestic shipping. But is that enough to justify a $250 difference? I'd imagine the evil would be slightly louder on the same power given that the specs show it having more motor force. Everything else is damn near the same. It would honestly be good info for users to have, maybe give examples, this driver might be better for this and this one is better for that.
