  1. I love how they sound . Hes runnin 2 18s In almost 16 cubes tuned to about 27 Or so On an ampere 9k . Im real Surprised how good It does on the higher notes . Pretty flat response from like 25 to In the 50s . Hes hiting 151 at 35 In his escalade
  2. I think if your not crazy with the volume knob all the time you wont mess the subs up. Most people messing up subs are clipping real bad and a smaller box isnt going to help with that. I would still go with what is recommended for the subs . Friend of mine is running 2 sp4s on 9k with no problems and his enclosure is on the larger side of whats recommended. But has the electrical for the 9k
  3. Lol . I just got that . Havnt used it yet though
  4. I would say blown fuse on the red wire or it got messed up somewhere. Check the radio fuse and if its not blown you can always just run a new turn on wire
  5. Lol cant believe someone said that to you that worked with audio . If underpowering a sub was dangerous or bad for a sub every time you turned down your volume it would damage it cause it would be getting less and less power
  6. Was going to use birch but I have like 4 sheets of mdf sittin around . .Think ill use birch on the face of the wall since it will be 4 or so layers . Going to try to keep everything extra in the car no more than 1000lbs
  7. Anyone know how I can raise the rear of my car. It has rear struts . Going to have like 1000 lbs + in the sable
  8. Alright I think I settled on just the 2 18s . Did some measuring today and wont be able to get the port area I would need for 3
  9. If I can fit 3 I got to do it lol . I know I can fit them as in the cubic feet they need but just going to have to see if the 3 subs and port will fit on the face of the wall. Really going to try
  10. 3 layers of 3/4 " . Its going to be the top of the enclosure/wall though . . . . Just one layer made the roof solid as shit
  11. And probley only doing the 2 18s
  12. Slow process but ill get it done lol . Just workin on it the little bit of extra time I got at the shop
  13. I know you say sealed but whats the problem with 1 12 ported? Something around the 2k rms range?
  14. Yea hes going to keep braking stuff lol buddy of mine has had to put his sunroof back on a couple times. Runnin 2 sp4 18s in an escalade . He ended up taking every bolt out and lock tited them and hasnt messed up since
  15. If both are in the same condition I would rather have more power
  16. Maybe you can try a bandpass enclosure ported through that opening. Normally wouldnt suggest a bandpass but mite help out with your situation
  17. Iv always had the worse luck with subs firing towards the front . What is making you want to do that?
  18. Why not sub up? Thats how iv usually fit 15s in trunks with still being able to take the enclosure in and out
  19. Yea I like the spacers . I like that look more than the sa8 ones that go all the way around and are plastic
