Yea I still don't understand what's being asked.... seems like you should have someone design the enclosure for you..................just measure the port size you need.don't try to keep making things work. The port length is the port length

Most shops iv seen don't. A lot of shops "custom enclosures" iv seen is fiberglassing over a prefabricated enclosure to make it look fancy or be a custom fit in a vehicle

So what will happen if little power supplies are used to power amps? I have a crappy power supply from an old comp and use it to test amps a lot in my garage. . But sometimes have an amp hooked up a while. Will this mess up amps or just cant get the most out of them?

So there is no bend in the port? Don't think you will get the tuning you want when the enclosure is as deep as your wanting the port length

Im about to do a build for someone and wanting help with the enclosure design. They are wanting a c pillar wall with port across the top. Its for one 21" warden on a sundown 4500. High output alt. I think 4 100 ah batts. Big 3 . Needing help with how much cubic feet and port area Ill start a build log once the enclosure starts Vehicle : 2000 Tahoe Location in the vehicle: c pillar wall Space available (Length x Width x Height): 24 deep 32 wide 36 high . . Going to at least double layer 3/4 in. wood all around Subwoofer make and model: ia warden Subwoofer Size: Number of Subwoofers: 1 21" Type of Port (Kerfed, Slot, Aero, etc.): slot along top of wall. Mite be open to other options What type of music do you like?: rap Is your goal SPL or Everyday Music?: music Tuning Freq (Hz): Volume : low to mid 30s

Should be crazy! When do you think this will be getting startedIn a few weeks. First thing is to rip out the interior and dash. Then build the roll cage. Then pull the motor and trans for an overhaul then remove the ac for a dual alt set up. It'll be a few months before I even get to the system. The car will be built strictly as a demo vehicle and won't be street legal. I'll more than likely have to make the rear suspension solid to handle all the weight. I'm looking at nearly 800 lbs of sub alone. I figure the car will weight around 4500-5000 pounds when complete. If I can get the alternators on it il run 8 tridents on 32k Really looking forward to seeing this come together

Will that always have the best results? I guess it depends on goals. Always though, testing will tell you everything.I was just wondering if you were going to test with different sizes or tuning to see if anything with the enclosure could help inprove your score
