  1. So by that measure, surgery performed by the best "surgeon" in the darkest reaches of Africa must be good becuase he's the best in the area. False logic. They are one of the best installers in the midwest. Anyone that does spl or anything has them install their stuff.
  2. alright well my question is finally answer thank god. i asked if it would be louder not lectured by guys who think they are car audio gods. I've seen other sytems with 3 15" subs and they have sounded fine i just wanted to know how much i would notice a difference before i spent the money
  3. I'm not getting anything other than alpines just depends on type s, r, or x
  4. They do reject people quite often. I can get a D4 and run it at 2 ohm. They will all 3 be getting the same amount of power so your analogy makes no sense at all. Everything will be lined up so that neither sub is getting more than the other ones
  5. They are the best shop around. They have dmm and all the stuff to make sure that the gains and everything are matched up correctly. No one has given me an actual answer to why it would be a bad idea they are just saying that gains can't matched up. I can get them matched up so what actually makes it a bad idea besides peoples own personal philosophy
  6. it wasn't a poor install. He had them installed by the best place in my area. I just like having an all around sound not just in the front stage
  7. I understand i can get one for less but its much more of a hassle to install a 2 channnel. My buddy has the power pack on some kickers and it's won of the best component sytems i've ever heard and i go to spls all the time and listen to just their speakers
  8. Its on the way. Dynamatting the whole car
  9. My buddy has a similar suv w/o back speakers and i don't like the sound of it at ALL! I'm going to buy type r components for the front and some decent rockfords for the back.
  10. If i stick with 2 what amp would you recommend i use?
  11. i'm not trying to argue. i'm trying to understand your logic. The shop will be doing all the installs and they have machines so everything will be matched up perfect. and second why would jacob at sundown say that i would have no problem as long as it's install correctly
  12. i can get an amp that does 750 rms i just throwing an amp out there for a refference
  13. The box is 10.5 cubes there for the right size and I talked to sundown and they said go for it
  14. I'm going to replace the speakers in my 98 blazer. Would it be worth it to put components in the back or just have components in the front and coaxials in the back? i plan on my this amp http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alpine+-+Power+Pack+180W+Class+D+Bridgeable+Multichannel+Amplifier+with+High-Pass+Filter/4769803.p?id=1218524495173&skuId=4769803 and these are the components i want to buy http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34373_Alpine-SPS-610C.html If its not worth i plan to buy alpine type s coaxials
  15. i'm having a box built for 3 15s wiring 2 of them to one amp and the other to its own amp. how is that completely stupid?
  16. btw my subs are dual 4 ohm coils so they will be ran at 1 ohm on the hifi1500 and then i will buy a 3rd sa15 d2 and run it at 1 ohm on the hifi1000d
  17. lt was custom built in a shop 7 cubes. and my amp is 1 ohm stable can't run 3 subs down to 1 ohm. Reason for getting a different amp is i don't want to put 1500 rms on 1 sub hence why i want to drop down to the hifi1000. and lastly i will be able to fit all 3 w/o folding down the seats
  18. I have a 98 blazer with aftermarket electrical system. I currently have 2 SA-15s running off of a hifonics hifi1500d. I'm wondering if i would notice any difference in sound if I added another sa-15 and ran a hifonics hifi 1000d on it? I want my system to be louder but not stupid loud haha any input on upgrading amps or anything like that will be accepted!
  19. i currently have 2 sa-15s and want to upgrade. I want to know which one will be louder. i'm thinking either adding 2 more sa-15's and getting another amp or should i step up and get 2 sundown Z 15's?
  20. 7 cuft tuned to 35 hz
  21. i have 2 15" Sundown sa-15's in a 7 cuft box in a 1998 gmc jimmy. i'm running a hifonics hifi1500.1 amp. I've seen people with the same subs, same brand amp(but smaller) in very similar vehicles do much better hair tricks than i can achieve. Any suggestions on how to increase mine? I love to show off my subs and this is a fun way to do so!

i just a new temporary amp because i blew my old one. Works great but the only problem is i have to unplug it and re plug it in to turn it on every time i start my car. It's very annoying and i don't know where to start or what to look for. Anyone have any suggestions?? its a pyramid cheap amp so that might be the problem as well
  23. it happens when i'm driving. My headunit turns off due to lack of power. My volts drop below 10. I have a very small/old battery as well. So my first thought was to get the battery replaced first and then go from there. if i can avoid dropping 250+ for a HO alt that would be excellent
  24. I have a 1998 gmc jimmy. I have 2 sundown sa15's in the back with an mtx thunder 81001. Gets very loud only problem is when i turn it up to loud the battery dies. So i'm wondering what kind of battery i should get. Right now i'm looking at an optima yellow top but i'm always open to suggestions in the same price range. I do have the big 3 done, and the alternator is stock but i have no idea how big it is. Any help would be nice because this is a very annoying problem. Thanks!
