Why did you chose to go with SP4s?

I knew Zcons were brutal but damn!!! Eventually, I wanted to get some 18"s but I'm scared now. I don't want to be driving around with doors broken off and roofs collapsing in, frame damage and sh*t. Then again it could be the excuse to start all over and add more!!!

If I were an amp, the things I would do to all that subwoofer tail. It'd be some real live action. Like Prince, those some sexy mofos.

What formula are you guys using to say that there would be no audible difference? I'm not critizing at all. I'm just trying to have a better understanding of how power works.

There needs to be some more explanation on rms ratings somewhere. Obviously more power than rms is not recommended. However, having more power gives better headroom. Less power than recommended is good. Subs that can handle 2000 watts or more sound good on 2-500 watts. I myself still don't understand power and rms. If your subs handle 750 watts a piece I would get a 1500 watt amp. I do know their is a direct correlation between power handling and box size where as a smaller box lends to more power handling and bigger less power. Where are the techies???

Your system has "water damage". Fix the leaks first!!! Anyway, smoked salmon is the bomb. It is leaps and bounds better tasting than salmon cooked other ways. You can eat it right out the pack without anything else.

Wouldn't two 10"s ported get louder than one 12" ported or two 12"s sealed? If space is an issue I would do the 10"s and they are "cheaper".

Yikes for that crack. The quality of these subs are excellent. It's getting them shipped in one piece. I know even a minor scrape or chip is cosmetic, but when you're buying something new you want it to be in its best condition. UPS and FedEx suck. I would rather pay more for shipping if it could withstand their abuse. Not even purposeful abuse. Lifting 50 lb boxes 8 hours or more takes a toll on a person. Tired equals sloppy. Plus shit does fall in the truck. For packaging, I'm talking using a wood crate, filled with packing peanuts, styrofoam and, memory foam, wrapped in bubble wrap inside a cardboard box with a shim of mdf on all outside edges, stamped fragile in big bold red letters. I would rather have it over packaged and secured. End of rant...
