MVL and CDL
Okay here directly i am going to be ordering some cdl tiles and perhaps a roll of MLV but my question is, if i put the mvl on to block engine noise would peeling the firewall off the center console insert and puting it behind there and then under my carpet on my floor work to block the engine noise. and in my van would it be easier/cheaper to use dynamat on the back walls and just cdl the doors just need a little extra tips on what i can do. thanks fellas

I wouldn't recomend you do it possible gluing of the ZCON to the box is not a good thing haha. but if you dont want to take it out if does happen thats a waste of 500 bucks. id rather see you not pissed of then pissed off trying to get your zcon unglued from the box baffles haha. but you can try it if you suspect any glue touching id recomend you get that sub out ASAP!- So, I heard Skar can handle some power...
oh okay i apologize i thought you were putting your ivx with your w3 togther. honestly for the money id get a gcon save up and get a gcon. I have a single 15'' Gcon in my van check out my build log. i just recently it a 140 with it on a burp and i put about 950w i know overpowering isn't good but its not that i run 950 to the max all the time but thats it i don't do it. just because i have my amp set @ 2 ohms with my gcon which is a d4. Just giving you some info on a very well built sub thank can handle some power and sound absolutely amazing. Thanks Aaron and Scott- subbwoofer in box
uhhh i dunno id take the sub out first buddy id be leary on letting my zcon get glued to my box haha. thats just me. haha- So, I heard Skar can handle some power...
- Is my amp really 1 ohm stable?
Well sir i have an audiopipe ap1500.1d and i bout it for 150 grantid its 1000w lower rms than yours. but it is 1 ohm stable it ran 2 ssa xcons at an unbelievable pace. But as for if it will be 1 ohm stable it doesnt hurt to try it and if it is then you found your answer just dont go crazy to see if it is because you may blow or overheat the amp like i said it doesnt hurt to try. just don't go over board. if it helps any haha.- RG's Jeep Cherokee build log
Not sure yet. probably be going down around 330 4 oclock.- RG's Jeep Cherokee build log
What ever is going to be possible and satisfying. 32 i think would work good. i dunno i like that number haha? are you gonna come down to my spl check tomorrow uncle neal?- RG's Jeep Cherokee build log
Yes i would like a model! that would be awesome cant you tune any lower?- RG's Jeep Cherokee build log
Okay so they've decided on a box. Its going to be a aero-ported box tuned to 30-32hz not sure of the major details yet but that's what's up so far construction will be underway Tuesday hopefully and the amp is here an ap3000d running the 2 re sx 18s. Wired either at 2 ohms or at .5 ohms.- First wall in the WaGoN! 4 15" DCONs... :)
Me too. I love the efficient builds. Would be interesting if there was a competition class with clamped power and vehicle size. Stefan was doing big output with not much power for a while. I did a 152.6 on a sea1200. I know I know its a wall. For whatever reason that dosent count. 150 at 34hz with kind of a wall on saz-3500.. YAWN. 150.2@39Hz with 2 12"s on a SAZ2000 with no extra battery and 4awg wiring. In a convertible. SON. 140@31hz with 1 con 15 in a e-150 on a ap1500d @2 ohm running 950w peaked at 40hz single battery 1/0 welding cable for power and 4g to sub. not sure how good that is but I think its pretty damn good- ZCON Carbon Fiber Option | Now Available
No lie! It would be so pimp Sorry, not going to happen. Surround color would be a cool touch but probably not for the cost. huh aaron.- Austin863's X-WAGON Build

Ho lee sheet. I just repositioned my sub. It is firing backwards in my van toward the back doors. it is placed 2 feet from the back doors resonating towards the front. I havent heard that gcon so loud since ive had it. holy man. im so satisfied right now im taking my pops down and having it DB tested today hopefully im at about a 141 on a burp and 138 on music its hella loud right now but it sounds so good front end is amazing aswell!- So yeah I am stuck, read plz.
Here is an idea. I have a gcon in a ported box in my van. its good on the meter for all the airspace it needs to eat. and it sounds hellish on music. i hit a 140 on a burp and 136 on music on 950w running to it with the gain knob half way up. i think in your honda you could hit what your looking for with a single 15 mine is D4 in a 5^3ft ported box tuned to 31 hz. I have vids on my build log and pictures if you want to check it out.- ZCON Carbon Fiber Option | Now Available
is there gonna be CF dust caps available for other series just curious- ZCON Carbon Fiber Option | Now Available
