In parallel only and you needed to say lowest impedance in the circuit not lowest resistance. That is why I said, and I quote "when wiring in parallel".

OK. Say you have a 5ohm load and a 10ohm load in parallel, you final ohm load will be less then 5 ohms. 1/5 + 1/10 = answer (reciprocal equation) 1/answer = impedance .2 + .1 = .3 1/.3 = 3.333 It is just a fast way to make sure that you did your match correct.

Remember, when wiring in parallel, you final impedance will always be lower then you lowest resistance in the circuit. That is an easy way to make sure if you did your calculations right.

I understand what you are all saying, but it is my roots. It is the first forum I every used. It was the only one I have ever used until about 3 weeks ago. Now this is the third. I agree with the same post on 2 different forums sucks. Especially when that person gets the same answer for eleventybillion different folks, then insist that those people are wrong. The photo gallery there is phenomenal. Merging the forums............hmmm.....I think about 1 year ago someone would have jumped all over it....maybe even now....but I am unsure. About your Jensen, I was just saying the other day how that was the best product to come out of that company in like.....forever. I saw it next to an Alpine and IIRC Keenwood in dash, and the picture quality was superior. Why is your box tuned so high?

I will be using an 8053 when I get around to doing the install in the eX. I like the balanced option, and my amps, will take a balanced input. Rolling 3 way in the front, se15 in the back. Should sound good.
