Well my car can't handle anther amp. I got DC power alt. 180amp that's the biggest I could get I have 2 xs power batteries one is D5100 and the other is D3100.

Ok i have 2 12" ssa zcons D1. I didnt know i could rebuild them to 18"s. I'm looking on building a wall in my car and i want to go for spl. What would be better D1 or D2? I have a crescendo bc 3500 that will be running 2 18".

Shipping is my big deal. If you where local it would make it happen maybe sorry again

Did you say you have an 15 and 18 zcon. You can change them into 12s. Just need to buy the basket and a recone for 12s. Just to let you know

I would like to trade my 12s for 2 18" or 2 15" and some money if there still good. I'll take the motors too.Would be better if on the east coast I would travel to pick up

I got 2 D1 and if I find someone that has D2 can I switch the D2 too D1. I'm not trying to sell my subs just trying too buy one or two more.

I'm trying to find out about something about subs. If I have a dual 1 ohm subs can I change them over too dual 2 ohm. I have 2 12" dual 1 ssa zcons. I'm looking for another one or two more used and if I find one that's dual 2 I would like too change them to dual 1s. If anyone's trying to sell there 12 ssa zcons hit me up

How do i bridge bc 3500 to .5 ohms?

I'm doing the same kind of build. I got the BC3500 it's going to be running 2 12" ssa zcons for the win. I'm putting a 180 amp DC alternator and i put a xs power 5100 and a 3100 in. I've not tried it out yet still waiting for one of the biggest pieces of the build but i did my big 3 in o gauge. Haters will hate do you research on everything before you start.

Good stuff. can't wait to see what the 2 12" dual 1 ssa zcons sound like on this amp going to try and hit a competition on August 5 if i get everything in. May not get to but im trying alternator is coming this week DC power. Had to change wire didn't want to use cca wire that the local store said it would be all right lol F*#k cca wire.

ok thanks. So my goal is spl so I need to set the gain to a 40 hz or lower?

thanks for all the info but there is no way to set your amp but to just do it by ear. What about a SMD metter.

Setting the gain the description above im putting 2 12 ssa zcons and 1crescendo bc 3500. going to run the amp at 1 ohm so it should put out 3875 watts. Know being that said the subs are 2250 RMS know when i set the gain should i go by the watts on the amp or the subs and being i have 2 subs do i x it by 2?

I'm still working on everything just builded the box. I got the amp the battery for the front and just ordered the battery for the back so know got to get the subs and then put it all together going to get the alt. later I think it would be ok to start. pic. will come soon.just dont have much time.Thanks for all the help

Ok I'm getting 2 12ssa zcons dual 1ohm. I got a BC3500 what would be the best way to wire the subs to it and the best wire to use. I think I'll have planty of power i got one xs power 5100R and going to put a second battery xs power 3100 with a mechman alt. all in a 1998 honda civic.
