  1. Happy Birthday man!
  2. I just had to replace my highs amp (jl audio 360/4) due to a malfunction. I was getting "engine" noise that came and went and also was present with car not running??! So I purchased an RF P400x4 to match my sub amps (t1500bdcp). I am happy with the amp, its the new model so it has input clipping and output clipping indicators, and a fancy set up disc with all tones and sweeps necessary (0db and -5db). So far very pleased. Also just fyi my pioneer p4400bh DOES NOT CLIP even at full volume. But that being said I had to go almost 3/4 on gains to get the required output without clipping of course. Also my sub amps are up quite high. So, long story short, I am getting very interested in the RF 360.3. Does anyone have experience with them or have seen them utilized? Its a little pricey but I have been considering a line driver anyway, and also, would give me control over my SSF which sadly is SET at 28hz on the sub amps. Just looking for thoughts or opinions. Thanks everyone!
  3. Hella nice work there Sean. Looking good man

Ill help a little. Measure all dimensions of your box then subtract the wood thickness used. ie if your box is 32 inches wide and its made from .5 inch mdf then your usable space is 31 inches. that's if there are no dividers or port in the equation. do the same with your height and depth. just be sure to subtract your wood as it makes a big difference in air space. Then measure your port length width and height. thatll get you started hopefully. good luck

THIS^ Im very curious to your thoughts on this nem, I love my xcons but man you guys putting these evils in and raving about them has me thinking....
  9. I think they know a mistake was made on their end VERY possible. Agreed.
  10. Not to knock Sundown as they do provide some great stuff, but even in the video it sounded like the guy was, I don't know, embarrassed to call the sub by name? Looks like a fun sub that could do some damage but putting a name on it like that is just.......I don't even have the words. Good luck...
  11. No need. Check how they are wired in the box and just use all four of your outputs on your amp. Simple and no drilling. You didn't say what ohm the dvc Memphis are but I would wire them to you get a final load of 2 ohms on that amp so you don't pop the subs. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp
  12. BigJon for prez 2016!! Give me correct answers or get the fuck out! Love it!
  13. Totally depends on power and the install. I would be very careful that far over optimal, BUT if you have low power it would be ok MAKE SURE YOUR SSF IS SET CORRECTLY. I cannot stress that enough. PLEASE PLEASE set your ssf correctly or end up in the noob boat with me after unloading your fantastic amazing subs like a noob because of ssf setting....
  14. Just because it hasn't been said in a bit. YOU ROCK AARON!! SSA ftw

  18. This thread is full of......WOW just WOW. OP-These guys know their shit and if you will listen and follow the links they provide, not only will YOU be better at this sport, but your equipment/setup will be better. I promise you are in good hands. It got off to a rough start because of how you were coming off, but they are still willing to help you-TAKE IT! I even seen that a member on here offered TO COME TO YOU TO HELP! Where else on any forum can you find that? No where. And I know brutalbasser knows his shit, so if he is offering still, then TAKE IT! I am not shouting at you, I just want you to see those words. This is a great place to learn and hangout, and I would love to see you take the advice and take your build to the next level. Take some time to read and re-read what is being said and process it. Hope all works out for you and as stated this is not the site to be on for someone to just say "Hey go buy this amp and this wooooofer and you will be king of all deebeez" We don't play that. Solid advice and self teaching.....
  19. Not sure on the exact design part douglas, but you are in good hands with Alton HE KNOWS HIS SHIT. He will take care of you, just work with him and communicate. I couldn't be any happier with the box he designed for me for my 15 xcons.
  20. Happy day chop!
