Welcome to the IHoP
How long can you wait. This holiday season is shaping up to be good with all kinds of possibilities. I can wait Make sure whatever phone you do get supports LTE. Many providers are finally starting to transition over to that new 4G and no current 4G phone by itself can accept LTE unless it specifically says it can.

Do i have room
It would have to be built inside the trunk firing forward, but it's possible.

car alarm siren
i got 3 piezo sirens inside and they aren't all that loud. Just use external siren(s) inside.

sounds like you're driving the signal too high.- problem with output stupid small box
4.5cuft is too small to get low end out of it. Now, if it were like 6-7cuft tuned to 40hz, it would get deeper but obviously if you were to rebuild, you'd have control over tuning as well.- IAK needs an "IHOP"
Its official I am not back in the game. I will make finals and the system, trying like HELL!- Just WTF.....???
Haha... he's in X1 in MECA and only did a 121.8.. People can break over 160s in that class.- Correlation Between Vent Mach and SPL
When doing just burping, make sure that trial and error tuning gets you the correct tuning. that's primary! IF you can ensure that you can always achieve the best tuning, then use the largest port area you can. I believe Gary Fletcher was using in excess of over 600sqin of port for just 2 18s in ~20cuft net on 2 sundown-1500s. He achieved a 159.4db- Can Incriminator Audio Flatlynes handle 900-1000W RMS
Alan dante.... I'm mobile so can't elaborate on everything We are getting to techy for this thread but comp, daily, etc has bearing on A common comparison when looked at.... averaging. Cone area and enclosure are both crucial. However, sacrificing one will require more power to compensate. The application is the factor in determining that.- Team IAK IronMan Explorer
For everyone that reads this... A STOCK alt is more durable than a HO alt. I'm mobile and can't explain why right now but think about Heat dissipation- Power Runs and Big 3
Stop being technical... What about resistance in terminal? Did u perfectly crimp it? Heat inside engine bay lowers current flow of wire. What about resistance in material u are connecting terminals too?- Team IAK IronMan Explorer
Might wanna find out why the alt died now.- Power Runs and Big 3
The long run cables to the rear is to help keep the voltage up for your alternator. If that ground cable you have ran from rear to front attaches to your front battery, then it would be wise of you to run an extra power AND ground cable from the alt to the front battery. The front battery itself doesn't need an extra ground on it. This will help keep the voltage high from the alt to the front battery since your rear battery has been decided to attach to the front battery.- Can Incriminator Audio Flatlynes handle 900-1000W RMS
Reality says otherwise. It's a well known fact that in competition, if you are burping, you use the LEAST cone area and if you are doing demosor averaging musical runs, you use the MOST cone area. Now why is that? Well, for averaging, more cone area equals better heat dissipation which means louder longer on AVERAGE. For burping, least cone area is required because the more cone you install, the more complex the output will be. Cancellation will be a problem, time alignment will be a problem. And the last thing, space. It's easier to fit less cone area than more. This allows for a more optimal or should i say EFFICIENT enclosure. So, what's more efficient, the enclosure or the cone area?- Ethos sample motor (pics inside)
Yea.. sadly the videos are showing what these subs do at rest, lol.. pretty much. Get some 16hz or whatever it takes to get some movement on those bad boys. Unlike other new companies.. there will be something interesting with this one.- Can Incriminator Audio Flatlynes handle 900-1000W RMS
If you really want to get technical experience, you can purchase an SPL-Lab's meter and sit there and watchmeter what you are doing in the vehicle. This will better help you see what's happening than just reading about it because in the real world, there are many uncovered variables at play that's not talked about in this thread and probably will never be because it's too much to cover. Many people that do not compete own pressure meters for this very reason. They eventually get their daily setups louder without buying extra equipment. Positioning, box tuning, vehicle environment mods, etc will all effect pressure and when it starts to become audible that what you are seeing is having a great effect on your ears, you will then gain a large understanding and like others out there, maybe even start competing.- Difference between 1st and 2nd Generation Q woofers
it's bester right now... In a few yrs, it will be bestest.- ShiZZZoN's Build #2 The Epicness of 2011-2024
oh.. well to give u an example, i am reusing a bunch of my wire for this build from years ago of previous builds.. Some wire has had E-tape on it for years and those wires, only the tips of them had the tape coming loose but only because dirt got under it and lost it's adhesive. I doubt i'll have problems with it. that thermal insulation does make a difference. wish you could just stick your hand down there and feel the difference.- ShiZZZoN's Build #2 The Epicness of 2011-2024
how about sealed at the headrest on classical music?- ShiZZZoN's Build #2 The Epicness of 2011-2024
U really think these terminals will get hot? Burps are 2 sec... so no heat there. Daily and demos @2ohms which would be max of about 200a.... that's about 100a per terminal...PEAK. Average should be around 60-75a per terminal. I think that's fine- ShiZZZoN's Build #2 The Epicness of 2011-2024
You didn't say where, every install just about can do a 160 somewhere.- ShiZZZoN's Build #2 The Epicness of 2011-2024
And i am working on it everyday- Uh oh....Xcon cracked magnet
Then go to your post office and request a printout of the current status of the shipment. They can track all packages regardless of service purchased. There tracking system is just not available on a WAN and the tracking tool customer's use is different than what they can print for you which is far more detailed. Rarely when one of our packages are overdue, it's because it was put on the wrong truck for whatever reason and bouncing around the country. When it's put on the wrong truck, every station must validate the shipping address so it's extremely unlikely it passes through 2 wrong destinations based on location. So.. go check it out. - Line driver throwing amp into protect mode?
