Good point Sean. Most of my experience is in writing, correcting and submitting evaluations, recommendations for awards, processing financial documents, and various other military related paperwork. Delegation, supervision, and suggestions as to how to accomplish a mission are all withing my daily duties scope. Degree as of now is in Business Management. I have considered psychology as well. If I got a 'no-name' paid for diploma I would go for Business administration, management, or psychology. As for the job I would apply for...............that is the hundred million dollar question lately. J

I've shot emails and I hate to say it but I'm just really disappointed with the price, especially considering thats I would be picking it up. I know its a new owner and a 'new' company, but ANT always went out of his way to make sure the local guys got shit dirt cheap since he didn't have to do anything but hand it to us and take our money. A degree is a huge plus and a filter for many HR departments though Now that being said, is it better to be working your way to a degree with a decently known school when you apply, or better to buy a diploma from a 'college'?? J Can't compare an apple and an orange. If you mean first reaction to your resume, the better school wins, if you mean in an interview that will depend on you. Wear long sleeves, cover tats. Thats why all my ink can be hidden in long sleeves. While tattoos and piercings are becoming more acceptable in main stream America, they are still not accepted by all. Sean what I mean is with alot of experience but a lack of time for school (or not taking the time too) is it better to have almost 10 years experience and a 'no name' college degree, OR 10 years experience and a decent schools degree but a break between your experience and your diploma? Basically I am debating on a 'no name' diploma to 'compliment' my experience. I am not saying I am a GREAT person at my job, but I am certainly above average. I just want to make the right call for my future, because I honestly cannot see staying in with how the job has changed. I have ZERO problems with constant travel, switching time zones daily, or multiple times a day. I love dealing with people who at least have a slight idea of whats going on, and helping people identify the problem and implimenting the steps to resolving the issue. J

Been working on college slowly. Most of my experience is in leadership roles (between 2 and 20 people) and in administrative (especially pay and other 'high priority' areas) work. My knowledge and experience is consistently sought out by people in MUCH higher positions of authority. J

Whats the work entail for your workers? Right now I am about 18 month out and with the way the Army has changed I think I'm calling my Active Duty career closed at the end of this contract. I'll go Reserves and just work on my pension much slower. J

I made a deal to purchase a pair of the 6.5" Kicker sub woofers and a JL Audio 300/4 Slash amp from sps1989. Since he was new to the forum with only limited off forum feedback I was hesitant to purchase from. His shipping and communication was far beyond what I expected. The package was wrapped and protected properly and arrived expediently. He is honestly a credit to SSA's classifieds section and I will not hesitate to do business with him again. J

I am not surprised. My problem is I am stuck with no chance for advancement right now and job change (still army but better promotions) is pretty much a distant dream due to my upcoming move. J

It's a great material for it. MDF WILL get wet in your doors. In particular if you drive a GM. What would you reccomend then instead of MDF or as a backer to the MDF to prevent issues? J

I think I have had enough of the Military lifestyle. How many of you have sacrificed job security and being almost 1/2 way to a nice pension due to personal moral conflicts inside your work and sincere job dissatisfaction? Right now I honestly feel like the husband who is staying only for the kids. I might enjoy it some of the time, but about 95% of the time I am unsatisfied. J
