Cal Kings are the toughest as they are almost always special order. However if a store has a Cal King in stock they sure as hell want it out of there and can get pretty agressive with pricing. Assuming it's not a display model to show what a cal king looks like. We got ours DIRT cheap. It was also cheaply made and the base sucked ass............. Name brand this time around. I want shit that would last. Sean mind finding out what brand and possibly model? We are going Cali King again and would like something GOOD. Wife like a decently firm no foam bed. J

Ok that makes sense. I'm sure there will be a tad bit more strain, but I don't see a real problem. Alternators free spinning isn't that bad. But the actually topic at hand, mismatched has nothing to do with the starter. And I wouldn't see a problem. I've seen many do it just fine. Thanks for all the replies guys. I see there seems to be a question about 4 alts. I want to ensure I have ample charging for the bank of batteries I am planning on. I am going to have about 12kw in RMS watts in the truck if all goes to plan and as such I need to have AMPLE juice available. I dont want to starve my amps for power, not do I want to strain my electrical. I figure in this area, overkill is a GREAT idea. J

Budget wise I don't get it, but maybe you've seen toppers that are a better deal. Warning on mattress shopping. No reason really to ever pay more than 30-35% of retail MSRP. Just bought Aidan a new Twin XL that retailed for $589 for $167. Hmmm, I suppose I need to take the little lady and go mattress shopping. We gotta do the same when we get home. Okay I lack proper knowledge in many spectrums of electrical. My question here is hypothetical but, if I had a battery bank of lets say 6 Kinetic 2400's all connected onto a buss bar. Lets say I have 4 alts. 2 put out 240 amps at idle, 1 puts out 250, and another 275. All 4 alts are connected to the buss bars by 1/0 cable. Would this cause issues with the reliability of the batteries or the alts? I just wonder is mis matched alts make a difference. J

Didn't think they did squat. Why not a new mattress if you are having troubles? Didn't want to spend that much $$$, then again a topper could easily be pissing my money away. Considering how much important time is spent there isnt it worth the extra money for a new one? Especially with the lil lady having joint issues? J

Any good 'outside noise cancelling' headphones that can get loud as shit on just an iPod? I am going replace mine soon, and so far the Beats by Monster have sounded the nicest while blocking out outside noise. J Etymotic MC5; same IEM style as the Beats but at about half the price and oh my GOD do mine sound good. Scary good sound isolation even when the music is off Well I ended up with some Beats..........Pics to come tomorrow. The wife got em for me. J
