I use federal. It's just old. Hasn't been cleaned in ages. I use it to shoot rabbits around the house.

(4) 12" Ported Enclosure
This will be enough for resonance. As far as road noise, I'm not really concerned with it. I just want to make sure I don't have any structural damage on the sheet metal from flexing.

(4) 12" Ported Enclosure
The body panels on these cars are pretty thin so I'm going to laminate fiberglass panels to the inside of the car. For the roof there will be a total of 5 layers of 6 ounce E glass and 4 layers of 1.5 ounce chopped mat with ribbed supports. This will be done in stages to prevent warping from heat. After taping off the top of the car I marked down the factory body seams with black marker. The marker will absorb into the resin and provide a trim line when I remove the finished laminate. I only do three layers at a time to keep heat down I needed a tad more resin to get complete wet out. I didn't roll on quite enough on the table but this is why I always wet my mat out upside down so that when I lay it right side up onto my "mold" I can add more to completely wet out any mat that's still dry. It's not perfect but I guess it's not bad for my first layup in 6 years

for each 90 degree bend you add half the width of the port to the length. since you have two bends you will add a total of 4 inches to your port length.

even a 4 inch pipe is smaller than recommended per Small, one of the guys speaker parameters are named after. Even though you may not hear "noise" or chuffing from the port there will still be compression that will be hindering output.

Question on BTL box build
cut 2 4x4 inch squares or so with a hole in the center for the dowel to slide in. slide the squares on the dowel set the dowel in place in the box then push the squares up to the inside walls of the box with plenty of glue on all contacting wood.

I'd just go with the 90 or rather 180 degree bends. All you need are 2 90's. If you just go with a straight pipe the end of the port will be very close to the sub and cause unloading issues. You always want the end of the port as far away from the sub as possible

I thought it was a Panamax but it's only a little pre-panama, about 850 feet long.

Those panels have torque screws holding them down. Don't yank on them.

Would taped wire ends cause voltage drop?
It's very easy to check for a bad connection. Drive you car and let it get good and hot with your system on. Then use a meter to check voltage directly before and after the fuse holder. Do this at each and every connection point. If you have a bad connect you will see a voltage difference. Make sure your system is on while you check.

A barge digging. The typical barge is about 200 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 15 feet deep and handles about 1,500-1,800 metric tons.
