  1. pics of set up please
  2. I got a little work done on the beamer to day. It's still pretty rough but you'll get an idea what it's gonna look like.
  3. I have installed several of their Picasso series and have been very happy with them.
  4. I have the JVC KW-NX7000 and its one of the best you can buy. 7" face, built in navigation (dont have to buy a $200 extra piece like Pioneer & Alpine), sounds great, has the best graphics, detachable face. Plus its the cheapest out of all the brand name navi systems. There are cons but the dont affect me - No bluetooth built in (extra piece) and there is no harddrive but you can put in a mem card. I would also buy the Pioneer AVBIC series but they are more expensive THE JVC with all the same stuff. IMO Kenwood/Alpine is too expensive for no reason. Dual/Panasonic/Eclipse are ok but they graphics arent good and are lacking in some features. The 2009 model the nx7000bt come with blue tooth and is the same price as last years model, also JVC is doing a deal on the 2008 models, if you purchase a NX7000 they will give you a blute tooth module for free.
  5. I need some input from some SQ guys. It has a factory nav so options would be to swap out the factory headunit with an aftermarket and good equalizers. Or just add equalizers to the factory unit. All highs will be mounted in factory locations. Two eight inch subs will be molded where the back seats are located. The product list includes the following: two pairs Focal K2 power 100 KRS 4 inch components two Focal Utopia 21 Wx 8 inch woofers One Audison VRX 4.300 One Audison VRX 1.500 What would you consider the best way to go, money not being an issue.
  6. I believe 23 pieces needed to be 45'ed. Wait till you see the 4 15 LI enclosure I got coming.
  7. This is where it's at right now. I'll wait until the woofer comes in before cut the baffle and finish assembly.
  8. All she needs are 4 15's and a four pack and she'll be parkin lot pimpin.
  9. So you do more mechanical and electrical and not structual work. If you have a welding shop around most have 1/0 for aound 1.50 a foot, in my area anyway.
  10. I'd call Ohio they might have some brackets for multiple alt.
  11. No you would be around the same output.
  12. They don't have any extra welding wire lying around where you are stationed?
  13. With you r budget you better go with the KNU . I purchase directly from Kicker and my dealer cost on that kit is $125
  14. nope, I'm an authorized Soundstream dealer.
  15. he's going to have a Soundstream PCX1500d
  16. Sorry about the "patch cord". Most old school installers call rca's patch cords. Technically any or cord connecting electrical equipment is a patch cord. The "RCA" is the name of the connecting end named after the company.
  17. I am not sure what they are going for on the net but, the zero gauge dual amp kit retails for $250.00.Which is 100 percent mark up over cost. But it is some of the best 1/0 on the market. You can't do this to most true gauge 1/0
  18. do the kicker pkd1 1/0 dual amp kit. It doesn't come with patch cords though.
  19. I've never purchased any equipment online before. But every manufacturer I deal with won't even accept the package from the carrier service if there isn't a RMA number on the outside of the package.
  20. hopefully it won't fall apart
  21. On large enclosures I like to use the port for internal bracing for the back wall.
  22. It's just a normal ported enclosure 8.5 net tuned to 35 herts. The port is just flared 45 degrees 5.25 inches from the outside of the enclosure, which is the width of the port. I have seen a little db increase doing this. I guess it would be equivelant to rounding off a port with pvc like in a spl vehicle. The port lenth is measured from where the port 45's inside the enclosure .
  23. So you sent them back without a RMA number?
  24. It'll be going in a Ford Bronco next week.
  25. what woofers were in your buddy's chevy?. They were on two of your 3000's right?
