  1. Aghh! The white screen burns my eyes. Agghhh, my cones and rods. Make it stop. Cool beans bro.
  2. Thanks. No winner yet. I think they might let it go a bit longer and give peeps more time to make a vid. I spent the whole evening making mine. O_o It was good though. I got my daughters involved. They had a blast and are ready for another production. Sweet! Thank you very much sir.
  3. Cheers, brother. A toast, to a game well played, and to new beginnings.
  4. Awesome. Thanks, very much appreciated coming from a fellow video guy.
  5. Thanks. Give it a shot. You never know.
  6. We just need a weekend to take a look at it and get some measurements. Let me know.
  7. Bummer. It would have been a blast to have you guys there. : There's always Austin Heat Wave.
  8. Holy smokes Batman! If you need some welding done by an amateur or anything else done by an amateur let me know. I can help.
  9. Eh, I'm a real tool when it comes to keeping up with that stuff. Plus, God knows what skeletons might come out of the wood works. O_o Ah, sorry for the confusion. Thanks BigJon.
  10. Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome. What a proud papa. Congrats, man. Looking forward to seeing this come together.
  11. Much appreciated there partner. Dang it, now nem beat me to it. Facebook, but it's only on Fi's Facebook Wall. On top of that it's under the wifey's name since I don't Facebook. Thank you sir. Not as nice as your avatar, but it'll do.
  12. Thank you, good sir. Rick beat me to it, but yeah, it's for the "Make a Fi promo vid and win a Fi Q 10. Hope I win. Thanks, I appreciate it.
  13. Thanks for watching.
  14. Box looks good. I wonder if you can share the "Input Parameters" page of the modeling software used. If I'm not mistaken, the software used is Hornresp. What has me intrigued is that Hornresp cannot model multiple ports, yet the sketch-up models of the box show two ports. I'm interested in how the designer was able to derive the dual port design from a software capable only of modeling a single port design. Think you can get him to share his secret?
  15. Awe shucks, I thought this was gonna be some sort of limited run deal made with special fairy dust and frog legs. So, are looking at an spl/burp oriented sub here or can it reproduce music accurately. Wandering minds want to know. Thanks for the info fellas.
  16. Welcome the the Internet where you can never find what you are looking for. Any guess how much this woofer weighs?
  17. No, it doesn't help. I want my own. I've been watching the build.
  18. Any T/S parameters or box requirements available?
  19. Dbl poast.
  20. Good looking box. This project is evolving into a force to be reckoned with.Keep up the good work.
  21. Well technically its not a Rod at all. Its a truck. But it is sorta a ratty type of build, just has a couple comforts, (heat / air, system, carpet) Alot of the nicer rat builds you see have the vintage air in them. Especially the ones that do the long trips. There is nothing "cool" about sweating your balls off if you dont have to. lol Not sure what you mean about the A/C panel? Its was already done prior, just need to put back on the one vent on the drivers side. Just poking a little fun at the "Rat Rod" title. No point in preaching to the choir about the importance of A/C, I live in South Texas. It's a sweet truck. My bad on that A/C panel bit. I meant the A/C controls panel. As BigJon mentioned I work for the company that makes the system. Fixturing and programming to make the A/C controls panel for the 55-59 Chevy truck kit was a bear. I don't get out much to see our products in action, so it was a real treat to see one here, and especially one I was directly involved in. Carry on with the sweet build.
  22. Is this a bad time for me to mention the similar back plates between the SMDv2 and the Fi "Team" Woofers? Muahahahahahaha!
  23. With a little visual scaling I'm guessing the slugs are about 10" in diameter. Noice! As for that fat radius on the bumped back plate, it just means someone is finally exploiting the capabilities of a CNC lathe.
  24. I dont get it. How are the fuses kept on individual wires? This looks like a bank of six 250amp fuses on one circuit. If one of the wire shorts on this circuit it's gonna have to blow all six of the fuses. Am I missing something here?
