I have 2 DC Xl 15's. Will they be alright crossed a little higher? My box will be tuned at 33hz. My deck is a pioneer 8300ub i am not sure what the low pass is i think it might be 120hz the highest point

I was going to have them either at 60 or 80 from the deck but still undecided until everything is hooked up and i could tweak it. But if you think i will be fine without a midbass woofer then i will most likely not be getting any, but i am pretty sure i wont be able to have these pa mids to low

No processor just deck and off a AQ120.4 using the Bandpass. Also with 4 AQ pa mids and 2 AQ super tweets. Just looking to achieve a good low end midbass because i am not sure that the pa mids will get that low. Was looking to get an 8. So i have been looking around at some midbass woofers but i am not to sure what to look for. What i would like from my midbass is that it sound good between the rages of 60hz-300hz. the midbass woofer will be placed in the door, 2007 ford escape. I would like to keep it under 65 per woofer.

Just a small update... I got the pillars set with the tweeter baffles and all i need to do is wrap, resin, fill, sand and fill some more and a lot of sanding. Would have wrapped but got a lot of planning for the weekend. Now some pics...

So i have not be able to get much done yet but i did however cut out the baffle rings for the 6.5 and tweeters. My only tools i had to cut them were a jig saw, i was going to buy a router attachment for my dremel but when i went to lowes and home depot both said that item was an online purchase only. So i said forget it and went ahead and used the jig saw.. So i did a 104.5mm diameter for the inner cut and a 106.9mm diameter for the outer cut for the 6.5. On the tweeters i did a 73mm diameter on the inner cut and a 99mm diameter on the outer cut. So onto some progress pics. I know it a little progress but some none the less. You will see on the tweeter baffle i had to notch out a small piece for the spade terminals.

I actually dont attend any shows.. i really dont know of many but if ad when you know of some let me know. I have been trying to check out some street spl comps or shows but never get the time. Otherwise yeah since you are local or near by once im finished feel free to check it out.

i may need to seeing as my depth will be really close to the hatch. i will only have a few inches if that. This was the only battery that was reverse polarity and the other batteries were to tall to lay it sideways. When i went to the site it recommended this battery anyway in the front bay area. After taking everything out i sold the factory battery and put the yellow top in the front and its laid on its side. I had to tie it down very secure because the top post were almost touching the air intake box Just a picture i have of it but not showing the top post

So i didn't get much done just removed subs and the box. Maybe if i have time i will mount the alt and the the xs 5100r tomorrow. Here you see a mess with my aq2200d and kicker zx650.4. They are going to sit in there for a little while. They are screwed down so they won't move. Just some teaser pics

So i have now decided to throw up a build log as i am currently going thru a rebuild process. There is going to be a lot of work to this Daily Driver and i do not get much time to mess around with it so it will be a low build. Also since this is going to be my first large scale build i will be taking my time with it anyway. Not to mention i do not have much experience just picking up on what i get from this and other forums. I did mess around with fiberglass a little so i have little knowledge of it also. Yeah i meant to maintain them not charge. Then to put the battery tender on the batteries when the car is parked i should be fine? I plan to use it every night unless i forget one night

Well i was looking at the ctek 7002 but i am unsure to use it because of the battery capacity. The ctek says charging 14-150ah and maintaining 14-225ah. I didnt want to get the xs intellicharger due to the price. I was looking for more of a cheaper alternative.

So i am in the process of a full rebuild and part of the rebuild consist of new batteries. I have all xs power batteries, a d5100r and a xp3000. What would be a decent charger i could have on them? Also what kind of on-board maintainer charger would be good to use?

Just curious hows the electrical? You said you were getting a singer alt. Do you only have the one battery up front?

Alright that would be great. I was hoping to do abox with both sub and port up and the port be a center port. What do you think about that? I did some calculations already with LxWxH i will use 23x41x25.5 and get a volume of 11.67cuft on the box and port HxWxL i use 21.5x5.5.28 to have port area around 118 and tuned 32-33hz after displacements i get 7.8cuft net. What do you think?

do you only build the box or do you also provide blueprints so i would be able to build it?
