you know what rick.. i think your right...... and its true... normally a low SSF will cause the spider to break away from the former, or ripped spiders....... thank you for pointing that out.

i dont understand.... your saying in one breath that you disagree... and a mega low setting on the SSf would have nothing to do with the sub self destructing.............................. then in the next breath you say that he should indeed, set his SSF accordingly.............................. now i know how defensive you get........ but there is no reason to.... im just calling it as i see it,

i would like to buy a better PC.... i have been viewing the gateway and dell referb ebay sales... but im not even sure what im looking for.... i dont game. i do watch alot of videos, while surfing in other tabs i also watch movies, look at alot of pics, and i would like to get into video editing... so i need something stout. budget... im a cheap fuck.... i guess alot of things would be worlds better then what i have now.... so.. cheap... 100 bucks.. this is what i have now.. its an HP 74 gig, and i have a 8 gig slave. pentum 4 2.4 gig 512 megs of ram. windows XP.

where is your SSF set.... ........ and whats your voltage been looking like, where are setting on your head unit, how high is your gain.... altho the torn burned leads are normally from too much power..... i think.it can be caused from clipping.... alot of people dont believe that... but i do..... i have seen it, and clipping causes heat paired with high power, can snap them mixed with a improperly set SSF, can be a VERY deadly combo. IMO!!! ohmyimhigh.

i used mine alot, and one time i walked out to a running car filled with smoke, from a relay that caught fire, ..... so if your going to do it.... use good relays i guess... i used the out of box ones,.

dont hook up the remote start if you dont " need it" dont get it. its problems IMO,

its a combo of issues... too much enclosure volume for that amount of power, with no SSF, will no doubt cause this issue every time.. no doubt.

the box seems a bit large to me.. i like around 6 cubes, for higher power... but im not sure about that sub.... your demo songs are LOW right?????? no SSF is your problem IMO.
