im sure its protecting for a few reasons.... 1 he does not have a volt meter on the rear battery.. and has no idea when the CB is trippping... so he keeps playing... untill the voltage is either to low to play .. or its protecting thermally from low voltage

2 things, how far is your CB from your power point up front.. either the front battery or the alternator.. two, how many times has it tripped thus far and how many amps is it
