yea this guy is running 3 sa 12's on a 4500 and i think his box is 6 cubes? and i run 2 sundown nightshade 15s in 6 cubes.... that was my point by saying who said 15's wont work in smaller encloses .it depends on the sub.. nightshades seems to like smaller encloses. oh and btw i run almost 5k daily... thinking about doubling up...

Why do you want a Sundown amp? DC Audio or Crescendo amps FTW. Why so many batteries? You have a HO alt(sorry to hear it is DC Power). BTW 5.0K on two 12's is overkill by a long shot for a music/daily setup. lol im just trying to be loud and the batteries.....was just trying to make sure I have minimal voltage drop... If you have current draw that is exceeding your alternator's output you will have voltage drop regardless of the amount of batteries used. I can put 15's ... but it has to be a really small box that isnt even spec'd for the sub.....the problem is the dodge chargers trunk opening its so small. how do you know the box will be too small....????? i thought this was a sub choice topic....

even at 15.5 some batteries can fail.... sounds to me like your alt maybe on the fritz. one sure way to find out.. take your car to an auto parts store and have them test it on your car. they are able to test diodes regulators and stators in most cases

ok heres a example for 8 speakers.... for your left side for your right side... for a even 4 ohm load on a 2 channel stereo... or .. if you wanted to run your amp at 2 ohm for more power IF its stable then you would want to run this in series for a 2 ohm MONO load. so wire each side like this.. then at the amp you would run positive of left side to your amp.. negative off left speaker to the + on the RIGHT and then the negative off your left hand speakers to the negative on the amp. again .. this is for 8 speakers.

this is dustys truck if i remember correctly, very nice set up and a cool dude to boot, 4 SA 12's on a DD m3 i believe, hugos, cream puff those tires were shinny!! anyway a great showing with the puff! the bass patrol stopped by !! he didnt run, and i didn't get to talk to them.. they didn't seem friendly. tinys ride, they seemed to really like Q power, there was another suburban with 4 Q power 15's the lanes then when i pulled into the lane to meter the fuzz showed up AGAIN!! then we got shut down!!! on no whattwe do...... monster mash SPL convoy to another town so that we could play trouble free!!! loud van but he didnt have enough battery to play very long but it was nice. the best built box i seen all day.. and i think he scored highest allday. interchangeable ports jons MX my second place award and now for the man that took me out... leo, cool dude, hard hitter. 2 DC LVL6 12's on 2 mmats 3.5ks i think. i ment to take more pics... but it was a little crazy, and we moved around alot! cant wait for the days off to align with the nest SPL street
