  1. thanks, guys, plans, to gain as much as i can with the same set up. tight fitting,, you betcha, its just like lastnight in my trunk. but it makes it. lol thanks stefan i see loudness too.. i call it blurred vision well im a but under the weather today,.,.. yesterday i woke up at 6 am.. i was in the freezing weather for 4 hours, ( my big wreckers heater wasa not working) then worked in the cold all day on the car.. then ate dinner and then worked a 18 wheeler wreck for 5 hours in the freezing weather again ( same truck) so i woke up sick, but on a lighter note i found my beenies and face mask so that should help me thru the rest of the winter..... import face off this weekend,... my lofty goal is 149.
  2. he has an older style lincoln our trunk is diffrent ,, just a bit.. his is bigger,... and its not an easy task to switch it around if its not right. thanks.
  3. ok heres the deal. i my box is sub and port same direction as of now i have them firing port up sub up. and there is around 4 inchs space before the trunk lid, and i am scoring a 148. i think i maybe able to squeeze the box in sub back port back.. but i will only have 2 or 3 inchs between the subs and port and wall of my trunk. if i change it up now.. and lose my score then im fucked for this weekend. i have talked with another town car SPL guy. and he stated, in all his testing center port back. he lost 3 DB. from having port on one side, and lost .5 db's on the dash (meca) with sub up port up i guess my short question is.. and at this point its just a guess... should i stay port up sub up .. or should i chance it and go sub back port back? with only 2 inchs the reason i would like to have sub back port back is for amp mounting.. right now its a real bitch to mount and adjust. thanks guys.

  13. get a test light and be sure you have power on the red and the yellow with the key on.. if you have power on each then do the same thing on the ground. could be an interface problem.. but also they can be confusing to install.. sure you did it correctly?
