  1. this is a friend of time that took all these videos,, hes crazy as shit, but he records aLOT so each vid is of a few cars
  2. also.. about half way thru this video you can hear me and then he gets in.. i had a problem, thanks pep for editing that out
  3. snaps and shot from last weekends usaci 1x show, in san antonio tx, huge show.. over 40 entry's into the comp i took 3 first place spots, trunk 1000+ stock 601-1800 and street beat 3 small demo with a small unplanned hair trick.. not much of one. ill post more show pics in a topic of just the show .
  4. mechman is great, love my mechman, funny story, over the weekend at a usaci meet, after my street beat run, ( music for 30 seconds score averaged )every one came up to me.. what kinda alt do you have man, where did you get it it on and on... see, every one else starts high at the beginning (good voltage and reserve ) but they quickly start falling in Db's .... when i ran, i started at 149.0 db and ended at 150.2! something you never seen in the lane. but i never fall like most the guys do, and i dont even have very much battery reserve mechman 6 phase technology !!
  5. here are some of my friends cars pretty far from what your asking about.. but figured i would share.
  6. even if you ground the RCa's the damage is done... you must get it repaired then to ground the head unit better to avoid these issues again.... i always run an added ground from the heat sink on the back of the h/u to the car... seems to work for me no issues is years and years
  7. the good thing about the powerwares is that ylou cant get hurt.... people will ALLWAYS buy them off you .. because they are big and cheap
  8. for the money you cant complain... but you get what you pay for too... for my money i spent a little more and for the deka
  9. lol chill your silly, you should know that these guys remember everything lol and it sucks.. but its my relaity its a shitty thought to know i may leave home and never come back, and the shit part is texas has a "move over law" but they dont enforce it.. so no one knows it, and no one cares. i have almost been hit many times.. scary to hear that screech just gotta jump and hope your moving in the safe direction ! i do not and will not drive drunk. i seen the real life consequences
  10. v1- v2 would be the heat sink and fusing on the board, and this On 12v / 1 ohm nominal the v.2 is more powerful. This is how most customers use them so we optimized it for this. On 16v and/or lower loads the v.1 is more powerful as of now -- we are going to keep optimizing the new design to exceed the v.1 across the board, though here is a comparison to the 1500D v.2 model -- the new v.3 is longer to fit all of the new parts and the fan but is narrower. and it has a fan
  11. post some specs or blue prints of your enclosure, .. a good box makes a sub....... with that being said a poor box will make a great sub perform poorly, not saying your box is bad,
  12. simply changing a 15 to an 18 will not gain you that much.. your only going up around 78 inches of cone area by doing so... roughly like adding a 10 inch woofer to your car... its around 78 inchs .
  13. the sub its self has nothing to do with "power hungry" or big three, that sub can be ran on 500 watts with no issues, or as much as 2000 watts in the right hands,... the big three is mandatory in any car stereo install with an amp larger then 1000 watts IMO... the reason being, cars are only build to support the heaviest loads it can produce IE, the headlights high beams and the s/c on full blast,. so when you add a huge load to to car system then you always want to make your alternator charging wires and your ground wires, because you added a load, those factory wires are only 8 gauge or there abouts,. its just like preparing for a hike, you want to have good shoe strings right? because thats what hold your boot on your foot! if they break.. well...
  14. are you chasing numbers at all? or just daily banging?
  15. it would not sound better IMO, you would choke it, and most likely raise the peak, if your looking for more ouput you should look into a better encloser for your 15 and more more power ( maybe i dont know what either of them are looking like)
  16. sweet, im sure you know this but i must say it... watch out running them in that big of an enclosure, unloading them is a real probability
