Yeah the budget could handle the Sundown 1500 Quality that much better? I would take the sundown way before the skar. The sundown will hold it's value better too.

Agreed, between the two the 1500 will be better.
Either one you choose will be fine. The only way that you will have a problem is if you set the gain too high. I would go with the cheaper of the two. Can you let us know what amps you are considering?
Why are you comparing those two numbers? There won't be a difference in output between the two.
I've noticed the same thing with a few liquors with equal ABV. One seems to get me more drunk than the other, I'm sure it's either mental or the speed of consumption. Or I'm completely off base.

Either will work, the 1000 will most likely be louder. In my opinion go with a different amp and save some cash, but you sound like you're not changing your mind.

The DCONs are great subs but the GCONs will be better for your application. The quote button is in the bottom right corner of each post.
Not at all. Don't think of an RMS rating as what a sub "needs". 600 watts a piece is perfect.
I don't recommend the Skar, between the GCON and SA I vote GCON for sure due to you using a sealed enclosure.
I sealed my SA's at one point and hated them. I'm not hating on the Sa's as I did like them ported, but sealed I would not recommend.

Do your thing man! Be safe on that thing too. I've lost a few friends in motorcycle crashes, and a few that made it ended up with life changing injuries. Not trying to be a downer, just be safe and mature with it.
