  1. That looks excellent man! Great work as usual.
  2. I totally agree! I have done a few setups for other people that way and it always sounds great. Every setup I have had I have always had rattles from the trunk that I couldn't tame. This will be my first forward firing setup in my car and I'm very excited.
  3. I think he is already glassing his doors for two mids and a tweeter. Edit: I understand why you said that. I'm a little slow.
  4. Careful playing under tuning, is your ssf set properly?
  5. Looks great so far man! Tuned in for updates.
  6. Are you asking about port area?
  7. You will more than likely not notice any difference between the crunch and the crescendo. "If it aint broke, don't fix it"
  8. Nice video man! Do you have a build log on here? If not you should post one. Have you metered yet? Sorry if I missed it.
  9. What are the specs of your current enclosure? What does DC recommend?
  10. More port area and more box volume = more efficient. So yes you will lose output and "move less air". How much of a difference would really just depend on how much of a change you are talking about. On the flip side having them in too big of a box will reduce power handling and will cause you to reach the drivers limits more quickly.
  11. Is your electrical system capable of running that amp?
  12. I think he has 3 and is asking if 3 is too much. I do agree with you though, I would use four+ if you have the room to fit the port length.
  13. You gained with only two, right?
  14. Looking good man! I like the way that looks!
  15. to SSA looking forward to updates!
  16. I havent recieved a warning or pm or anything? All I do is share my videos, I dont troll or anything It might be a mistake.
  17. I don't know I just saw it under your avatar. Weird that you're banned and can post???
  18. Banned?
  19. Clearly this is part of it, but as it has been stated before I very rarely see any of the IA people on here. I don't think I ever go more than a few hours without seeing Aaron or Mark on here answering questions, or just actively posting. They (SSA) never "push" their product. They do have a lot of people on here who are happy with the experience and support they get from SSA who recommend them.
  20. I believe he sold the DC's. I guess I lose. ding ding ding. Awesome!
  21. Throw it on craigslist for 150 obo. If you can get 100-120 out of it getting the ssd wouldn't be any extra if you use the money you were putting out for the recone. I'm just throwing out another option for you.
  22. How much is a recone for an x? If I were you I'd sell it and grab an SSD or something that will take that power better.
  23. Reason I bought the 4 1500s was because I can wire down to .5 each or 2 ohms, So I can drop it low or keep it steady at 2 ohms strapped Probably run them at 1 ohm strapped Sounds good man.
