A box for the 10's shouldn't cost more than 50 dollars. A properly built box for the SA's will sound great. It sounds like you have already made up your mind but in my opinion your best bet would be to build a new enclosure for the sa's.

I would keep your SA10's and build a new enclosure if those are your only options.

CDT used to make great quality components. They recently shipped off to China and quality/reliability has suffered.

Port tuning is dependent on port area and port length, so the shape of the port opening won't change that.

No problem man! Set everything with the gain knob maxed, this way when you turn it all the way up you are at the max that you set your gain on your amp.
