Just installed two yesterday, I'll try to get some videos tomorrow. So far I'm VERY impressed. -
No problem I would think that .5ish is fine but I'd wait for someone to clarify.

I'm assuming you mean sealed? I think they have the same box requirements as the sa series. Could be mistaken though.

My expectations are high. They will be in a FAR from optimal enclosure though. Since they are temporary we can't waist time making a custom box.

Going in Alerion's 84 Land Cruiser for now. Should have some videos up tonight. Just a very temporary setup until the other SSA drivers show up.

For that budget you can probably do better all around. I have zero complaints for their ap1500. My buddy also ran the txxbf-15's and they were very loud. I do think you can do better but audiopipe is one of my favorite budget brands.

Haha when I saw that and he told the guy "yeah we'll have it to you in a few days, you have my word" I couldn't help but to start thinking of what their excuses would be a month or two later.

That's interesting you say that. His recommendation was a ported box from kenwood's Freak series. I don't care how cool the box was they wanted $550 for it. 550 for a box for some kenwood subs! Holy sheet.

Sounds like you waisted an hour listening to a bunch of bs. The box part is somewhat true though. The sub enclosure is just as important as the sub that goes in it.

There is no way to guess for sure, but from what I've seen and from first hand experience I'd say <30 days to your door. It is the Holiday season though.
