Just playing around last night, it suprised the shit out of me. Aaron says to give it time to break in and I say I maybe deaf by then. It is super stiff and this thing moves some serious air! Almost afraid to go any harder because I don't want to break my 4runner. Very cool! I will have to get my hands on one soon. If you are ever feeling crazy enough to let her go I am your man. Once I get done with this build I'll probably order one I hope this is the last sub I buy for me. Honestly it is just cool as hell setting out of the box on a stand, but the wife said it did blend in very well. Haha in the nicest way possible, you deserve to have an EVIL sub.

  5. Maybe this will clear things up for the funky pup. 1 watt to a funky pup is like 10000000 watts to a DD Z. These are Chuck Norris’s choice, not for bass, but to replace the engines in all his WalkerTexasRangerMobile’s… 1 funky pup = 500 horses, 2 funky pups = 1500 horses, 3 funky pups = time travel. There was never an atomic bomb, there was 4 funky pups in a .25″ particle board sealed box. They stopped making funky pups because the warehouse they were stored was quickly shifting the earth’s magnetic field. As a result, most of the world’s funky pups are now stored in a secret underground warehouse below Santa Claus’s Elf sweatshop. Its not certain what exactly makes the funky pup’s so much better than everything that ever existed, but it is absolutely certain – THESE ARE THE BEST W00FERS EVER MADE BY MAN OR SPACE MONKEY! Precisely!

How is it compared to your dual XCON's? I know that it is a completely different setup but I'm curious.
  7. tweeters in/on A pillars mids in doors What kind of depth can you fit in your doors? How big of a tweeter can you fit? I'm assuming a pretty big tweeter if you were planning on those super tweeters haha.
  8. Where do you plan on mounting the speakers?
  9. I have not bought the deck yet. soon hopefully. I mean reasonably so, didn't mean equally as loud haha. That seems like basically what I'm looking for. Trust me if you work with the vast amount of super knowledgeable people on here (I'm not one of them, but I'm no idiot ) You can have something that will blow away what you were looking at. ehhh.. at least give me a brand to look at haha, I need something to work with other then: pick something better. and no one else is chiming in so I'm looking at you There isn't a specific brand to look at. Look here http://www.parts-express.com/cat/home-audio-woofers-midranges-tweeters/13 and here http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/speaker-drivers/

  11. Have you purchased the deck? If you have 400 to spend after the deck you could do a killer front stage man. Nothing is going to keep up with 6 fifteens, but if you want something that will sound good at moderate sub levels and something that you can still hear at full tilt it is doable for sure.
  12. What are you trying to achieve with your front stage? First off the super tweeters should just be cut from the list. Second you spent all of that money on an awesome deck to throw shit drivers in, that doesn't make sense. Please don't think that I'm trying to be rude but with the money you were going to spend on what you have listed you could do MUCH better and I'm only trying to help. List your budget and your goals and we can go from there. Don't forget deadening either!
  13. Yeah it was honestly a toss up between going big power on the XCON's or this route, and I just happened to stumble upon a buyer for the XCON's which made me go for it. I can't promise that big power won't be somewhere in the near future BUT I'm hoping that this will hold me over for a while. I picked up some Dayton IB subs last week but was very excited when I saw Sean's add. Anyway, yeah I'm hoping it sounds good and has enough output to keep me happy.
  14. Slowly but surely this car will get finished.
  15. And if the amps that you have work, use them. There is no point in changing them out if they work.
  16. What are your goals for your front stage? The drivers that you have listed are not that great. Also what do you plan on using for crossovers?
  17. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/56608-uh-ohxcon-cracked-magnet/
  18. It is not covered, and it is repairable.
  19. Temporarily using my amps crossovers. Looking into a mini dsp or maybe an 80prs. You?
