Just talked to Sir Mantz, current ZED stock is almost out. And they will not be making another run of these amps. I very badly want a Gladius w/BB and Deuce w/BB for my active front stage.

If output is his primary focus, I might lean towards a pair of SSD 15s. Seems like the best cone ratio to power available set up.

It is more about the install then the choice of driver. A single 12 in the right box has the ability to put up a better SPL number then an 18 if it is not installed well.

I try to upload new smiles all the time. There is a thread dedicated to members submitting them for me to add to the system. Anyway, I have heard a few different SSD installs, and I think they sound great with the copper coil, and now that they have the BP power option, those two upgrades would be my pick.

I don't own one, but I have seen on average most are running 750 - 950 watts approx.

I think there is this stigma that many people think sealed boxes cannot have output. Personally I prefer sealed with the majority of the subs I have. Heck, I think it was dbSteve 2 years ago did that JBL van and the wall was sealed and he was well into the 160's IIRC.

Yer not alone man, internet radio stations have been dropping like flies lately, including the one i was Dj'in for I have wanted to see what the costs would be for SSA to have its on little underground radio station that the music is picked and submitted by the members. ever find out the costs ? No, sorry. We need focus every penny towards the SSA brand and existing SSA websites.
